Should I capture Mewtwo with the Master Ball?

I've saved right in front of Mewtwo and I keep on resetting to get him with a modest nature. Should I use the masterball on him or use it on Suicune? (which i'm having trouble finding.)

your dog is always the best pokemon to use the masterball on...

the reason for this is because if it uses roar it is gone forever...

mewtwo isn't that hard to catch with timer/ultra balls...

just get a very strong false swiper and whittle its hp down to 1...

then throw bundles of ultra balls and eventually timer balls

good points but I believe Suicune doesnt have roar. It can still run away though right? it gets a bit annoying because he uses recover often..

It does but dog hunting costs much and asks much patience much more then keeping catching mewtwo untll you have the right nature.

I'd use it on suicune because it just runs away and you have to find it again. Its almost impossible to catch a dog without the master ball because they always flee.

The dogs are one off a kind if you get a chancey you can have unlimited (well untill your pc is full)

Dreams come true
Trap it with Mean Look, Spider Web, Block, Arena Trap, or Shadow Tag.

But the way with the most fun is to keep traking it down and attacking it it is just fun at last with raikou on crystal it was using repels and those blocking attacks/ability's spoils the fun of keeping tracking it down the game is for fun right? ^_^

Use it on Mewtwo w/ Modest nature. It will be infinately worth it.
Suicune does not have Roar or Recover. You can use Net Balls on it. It's easier to catch compared to Raikou and Entei for those reasons (Net Ball, no Roar).
The Raikou, Entei and Suicune of FireRed and LeafGreen have rubbish IVs for some RIDICULOUS reason.
Modest Mewtwo is a MONSTER and give it the right moves (Calm Mind, Ice Beam, Recover, Thunderbolt) and you have a REAL threat. I cannot emphasise how amazing it is.
Please, please, please, take my advice above, I guarantee you won't regret it (unlike using it on Suicune).

I'd use it on Mewtwo, Suicune doesn't know Roar and if you can trap it via Arena Trap or Shadow Tag (with Dugtrio and Wobbufet respectively, both available in FR/LG) it is not that hard to catch. Mean Look works too(for catching Suicune).

How do you check their natures before you battle them
You can't.

I'd use it on Mewtwo because he's the strongest pokemon in the game. You can trap Suicune and hecan't run because he doesn't know Roar, so yeah I'd go ahead and use it on Mewtwo.

As other people said, it is possible to trap Suicune, so use the Master Ball on Mewtwo because of how strong he can be.

Use it on Suicine. I caught my Mewtwo in 3 Ultra Balls once, so he can be extremely easy to catch. Now, if you fail to catch one of the dogs, that'll be just plain annoying, having to locate it all over again, and restarting from your last save if it roars at you.

That's only if he chose Charizard.

In my opinion, you shouldn't use legendaries. Although I do occasionally, I have never caught a legendary with a Master Ball. Always a Timer Ball.

I don't use them either, I just catch them for the sake of completing my pokedex
