Should I close the old thread and re-write fic completely?

Okay, here's my problem.

My story is currently in its 15th chapter. It's about half way done. However, recently I have started re-writing it and this time it won't have any cloned Pokemon in it.

The prologue has already been written, and the first chapter is nearly finished.

I would like your thoughts. Should I just continue on my fic as it goes, or ask one of the mods to close the old thread so I may re-post the re-write?

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

you were the one.
Er..depends..if it was a drastic change, I'd just start it over. If it's subtle, then no. I guess it depends if cloned Pokemon played a major role in your story prior to your revision.

If it were me, I'd repost the whole thing--but then, when I was writing HHNF, I reposted it like 10 times, covering basically the same thing, lol...
