well now that we figured out how to enter a p/w in ranger net it may be the ONLY way to get manaphy but thats if ya want to go through a game you don't enjoy. I liked it not as much as other pokemon games but thats just me

To quote a person on www.gamespot.com "For those of you who expect a standard pokemon RPG- leave. For everyone else- welcome to the club!" Its a great experience in my opinion! Somehow and (don't ask me why or how) but it manages to stay true to the routes of the Pokemon franchise while still doing what spin-off series do best- making an entirely new gaming experience
which sets itself apart from the main franchise!;488; ;manaphyegg; ;442; ;482; :surfpika:

LOL, that's a quote from my review that I did for Ranger when I got the Japanese version of the game back in April. XP

(Yeah, I use 'zenigame' on Gamefaqs/Gamespot/Tv.com/MP3.com, BTW)

I'd look at that quote and determine if you think it's worth it or not. Personally, I think it is.

Basically, everyone who doesn't like Pokemon spinoffs/expects this to be a very standard Pokemon RPG probably shouldn't buy it. However, everyone else willing to dabble into the game should at least rent it or buy it, because it's a fun game with a new/innovative concept that's short, so it feels hardly repetitive (unlike PMD, which gets old after 3 hours into gameplay).

This is a very fun game that is hard in a lot of cases and it is fun. It is also the only way to get the Legendary Pokemon, Manafi! (And it's off spring)

I'd suggest buying it as its a fun game and just way better then Dungeon imo

I got Ranger because it looked fun compared to that Mystery Dungeon crap. It was a real challenge for sure. At some points I wanted the throw my DS but I';m finally glad I got through the Main Story and beat that part of the game. Now I look forward to capturing 60 more Pokemon to fill in my Ranger Browser and do 3 Special Missions.

It's a great game, I definately recommend it. (The Graphics are so much better than a standard Pokémon game - too bad they can't look like this...:()

I think manaphy in ranger gave it a better name, or else there would not be a great way to advertise it imo

By your logic because theres no trade-able pokemon in Dungeon it fails
