Should I get the actual GBA game?

I've been playing a Mystery Dungeon Red ROM on my computer for a while now, and I've almost reached Groudon.

I'm enjoying the game as is, but I won't be able to have any link-up features.

If any of you are familiar with the link-up perks, Tell me: should I get the actual GBA game or what?

Get red for GBA, ESPECIALLY if you're getting blue too, for portable linking up

Yeah, get the game. Playing on a rom is free but boring. Not to mention its illegal

!!! Well I probably should get the game sometime...

That Dungeon that can only be unlocked with linking-up, what kind of Dungeon is it?

there is no dungeon.

if you have a DS and blue and red in it at the same time you can transfer reds team over to blues makuhita's dojo and you can fight them.

nothing really specail. but blue is alot easier than red (I've played red at wall-mart).

There is a special Dungeon unlockable!

It appears at the Makuhita Dojo when you play Red or Blue Rescue team with the other game in the same DS, I read it on the main page!

Anyway, I probably should get the real game if it really is illegal for me to download a ROM...?

yes its illegal ;) (not jokeing).

well, the top screen helps ALOT. you can see the map (I use the map instead of your team) which I useally use somtimes. like I just look at the map and see where I'm going to find things faster.

Buy the DS game, if you have one.
Question: What does the MD look like on a computer? What are the controls?
I have never seen one on a computer before...

And...what are the controls?

Why wouldnt someone just go buy it? Wouldnt that be easier...?

I play the red version on my DS, don't have blue. (Was truly chance, Toys R Us was sold out of blue...and the only choice left was...XD I felt like Gary in yellow.)

It's mainly the same, except its all on one screen. Excellent for the old school such as myself that is still getting used to the Stylus and weight of the DS.
