Should I goto JAA?

I mean, should I? I restarted all of my files. I am gonna register for the Philidelphia tournament when I can. I mean, now I have only one level 100 Pokemon which is my Lugia. There will be people who shark against me. And I live in a 3 hour drive from Philidelphia. Is there really enough time to raise 5 more Pokemon to level 100. Also since the tests are so easy I might not make it in time to pass the test. What if I pass the test but 64 people get there before me? I mean what if I lose, people might call me a pathetic trainer. Am I being to paranoid or should I just train 5 more Pokemon to level 100 that have good natures for them and goto the tournament when the tests are avalible?

I would go because you can catch rare pokemon pluse celebi. you can still enter the tourny but you can atleast have a fun time at the place, the tournys not the only thing thats gonna be there. so you should totally go. I'm 3 hours away from the one I'm going to but I don't care because it gonna be so freakin awesome pluse you can meet people from the enternet and trade with them, thats what I'm doing.

Do what you want. The worst that can happen in the tournament is that you lose. But you'll never know if you try, right? You should definatly go even if you don't participate in the tournament. I went to the JAA at San Jose Valley Fair (I wasn't in the tournament though) and it was one of the funnest things I have ever done. And plus, you get to meet Pikachu. :B

I know, but what if my parents dont take me, they'll probably sleep in. I was thinking about staying the night in a Philidelphia hotel so I could goto the tourny for sure, also, can I get celebi if I dont compete? what battles are used with a tv screen, all I know is that the finals are.

I have a question though, how many ubers am I allowed to use? and it is level 100 battles right? I downloaded the file that has all the rules on it but I cant read a pdf file, so what are the rules?

well you can use all the pokes except mew,celebi,jirachi and deoxys. so you can use any other pokemon but there are more rules. you can use as many ubers as you want, I'm not gonna use six ubers to rule the tourny with my super uber team gosh

Yeah, you should go. Even if you don't participate in the tournament, you can still get Celebi, as the others have already stated. And you can get an official Pokemon Certificate when you go there. Just look for a lady on a table making those certificates. Oh, and the lines DO get crazy. Two or more hours after the event starts, there are probably already more than 500 people... But it's quite a benefit if you go, you can download unobtainable Pokemon.

Wow, yeah! I forgot about secret bases!

If you have your emerald game, there's those random emerald people that change what they do and what you can get from them depending on who you mixed records with. So each time you mix records, check those people out for free stuff!

Also, don't forget to trade often. Even if it's zigzagoon for zigzagoon or zubat for zubat. The main point is to get another trainer's ID number and increase your change at the Lillycove Lottery.

JAA has got to be one of the coolest things i've done in a while. You should definately go, even if just to get celebi and the top 20.

My suggestion, the celebi line clears out after a while, you should try to hit the top 20 first because that one stays full all day long. Also, try to get at least 1 extra game because you can get four at each trip through the line (2 games with 2 slots each per person per trip). You can get Celebi when that line starts to die down.

Oh, and realistically, you shouldn't have to worry too much. very few people are going to shark now with the fair play rules. If they actually hope to win that is. I made top 8 and my team was Effort trained and like 7th generation (breeding, not pokemon lineup). It helped, and I only lost to the guy that won the tourney (he admitted to sharking anyway).

You should go. There will be a lot of people to battle, trade with, mix records etc. Try to enter the tournament - the worst that can happen to you is to lose which ist not a big deal anyway. And the best thing is that you can get Celebi and the other 20 Pokemon. And you should train your Pokemon to lv 100 but I think that the team there will be of 4 Pokemon so you might only train 4.

just go in and have a good time. There's lots of other things to do than battling on the JAA. You can get celebi and mew. Cool. You can also see others battle.

Im going to it when it reaches NYC. I wonder why its not going to the PokeCenter there. I'm only gonna go so I can get Celebi, Blastoise, Dragonite, Latias, and Latios. What games do you need to bring? Is there only certain games or could it be any GBA Pokemon game?
