I'm a Feraligatr, but Purity Forest is too hard.I'm on floor 32 and I started since Sunday.I want to quit and start over sice I only advance 1 or 2 floors every day -_-.I was thinking maybe Gastly(goes through walls) or Blaziken.

what do yall think?

I've got feraligatr and blaziken, and i had to use blaziken because i was getting nowhere with feraligatr. So i'd say go with blaziken, it worked for me! :)

Also try mew. They level up super fast AND can learn any TM you find (or steal coughcough)

What about Gastly? it goes to the wall and opponents can't hit you.

Edit:I don't have Mew or a friend bow and I want Celebi ASAP

True BUT it seriously sucks away at your belly. You would starve very quickly. Also you should use evolved pokemon so they know more and better moves like gengar or blaziken.

I haven't done Purity forest yet, but if it is anything like Joyous tower I suggest you bring more Oran berries and Gravelrocks then Apples, as apples are everywhere. Gravel rocks always do 20 damage so they help when you face a tough pokemon in a level one dungeon.

Blaziken is a good choice. Charziard works for me. You could also try Medicham
as it knows confusion and the elemental punches right away.

Ok, Pichu is VERY good, but it has a problem. It rarely gains HP when it levels up. (It has 35 HP at level 18.) As for Blaziken, he's a good pokemon in the beginning, but later on he'll start to fail due to slow levelling. Raichu, on the other hand, levels up pretty fast and has strong attacks. I'd recommend Raichu, since he can survive some monster houses with Thunderbolt.

Use Venasaur. I have gotten to the 90th floor with it in less then 2 hours. I dies from a damn Parasect.

all those fire types...
Anyone know what I should do when I encounter a fire type with Flash Fire?
The only move I can use against them is Growl and Scratch and that gives 1 or 2 damage...

Don't you have any throw items handy? Anyway one of the most useful items for that place is the measily pass scarf! I just had it used to fullest effect!
1. Its a monster house!
2. Put on pass scarf
3. Golbat uses astonish and attack
4. Golbat kills everyone else in room, then himself :p

I love doi8ng that to enemies

Venasaur+Pass Scarf=Complete ownage. I was just trying to beat the damned place again and I lost on the 97th floor. You can imagine how ticked off I was. But anyway, that is a good combo for the place. Oh yeah, you should try and find a few Frustration TMs. They really do wonders in there.
