Why doesn't Magikarp learn a friggin' water attack?

Because Game Freak's intention on programming Magikarp was to be pathetic. They did not want to make him anymore powerful. I think they should make a powerful Magikarp that doesn't evolve for the heck of it, but that's just me.

And...

Should Swampert learn Muddy Water?

Can anybody answer my question?

No you shouldn't. Surf is better.

Why doesn't Tauros get Megahorn and Shadow Ball? And Charizard and Ampharos should get Tail Glow. I don't care what its friggin' Japanese name is.

All the pokemon that learn megahorn have one horn. Tauros has two horns. Rapidash should get it. Even if charizard gets tail glow, it's not like its special movepool is going to expand.

Does anyone wonder why Nyarth never got Milk Drink? Or the fact that Beroringa didn't recieve Lick until Yellow version? Always bothered me...

Earthquake on Rapidash would be nice, considering, I don't know, that its hooves, being harder than diamonds, are certainly just as strong as Glalie's oh-so-powerful feet? Not that it would help Rapidash much, considering that it got pretty ripped in the move department anyway, and being a specialist, it really can't do much out of its own type; but for the sake of argument.

Another vote for Gyarados learning Aerial Ace... good physical attack and nothing it can STAB physically outside of a Hidden Power. Even Modest, fully EV trained, and with great IVs, Gyarados's Sp.ATK can't really compare with its physical attack. I know I have differing perspectives as far as competitive use goes, but I like STAB backed up by solid offense, and given that Gyarados's greatest strength is in its physical attack, I lament its lack of STAB.

Trapinch should learn Earthquake naturally. Most of the other ground types do. Instead, it gets Dig. Oh, frabjous day.

Can't understand why Gardevoir gets Thunderbolt, but not Ice Beam. (If not Ice Beam because that move is too cold for the emotional "embrace Pokemon," why not Flamethrower?)

It's been a while since this thread gained posts, but...

Should Masquerain know Bubblebeam?

I want to know if I should hold Sunskit for three levels.

And don't tell me that Masquerain sucks; people exeggerate.

Special Attack 80 and Special 82 isn't all that bad.

masquerain has s.defence enough to resist a flametrower, so it is awesome an insect learn water moves (but hydro pump is better).

Yeah, but this is from XD (from the Pokespot). So the two water attacks that are of any worth are Bubblebeam and Water Pulse.
I guess there's also HP Water 70, but that is rare.
And with Water Sport, Flamethrower would be even weaker.

Water Pulse would be the definite choose, but there is only one of them.

Should I use it for Masquerain?

What are these supposed to be(my system got jammed up somehow because of the search button)? But for the first question, I think only milktank learns milk drink because it is the only pkmn that provides enough amount of milk. Beside, the games is for everyone, including kids, so............

I think that wailmer learns water pulse, so it´s just breed.

It is actually TM03. You get it for clearing Mt. Battle Area 2. I just don't know whether I should use it on Masquerain or not.
