It would be rather strange to take a 1st stage out of the games, so I don't think that magikarp should be taken away...

No magikarp can't be taken out of the games! he is a great joke. Annoying when fishing and only finding him yes but really funny

Get rid of Magikarp? Then what's the point of Gyarados? Besides, I like leveling up a Magikarp to 100.

Why the hell should Magikarp be taken out of the games? It evolves into Gyarados, which is an awesome Pokemon. Magikarp is fine.

Definately keep it in. There would be no gyarados without it. There are strong pokemon and there are weak pokemon and plus it can be a nice challenge training it into the all powerful sea serpent.
