Yes.

Ash, the usless eyeless dude and the annoying kid can leave though.

While I respect your opinion let me remind you Ash has a purpose and is thefore not useless on the show. But I do agree with you about Max.Ash ain't leaving, if he does May does.
P.S
Ash rules!

If May leaves wouldn't it be cool if Pokemon had a spin-off about May,Misty,Tracey, and a lost pokemon(Rozureido) they happen to find on their adventure...http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/416.shtml

While it would be neat to see Tracey back and in action I don't know. Well as long as they kept the orginal show up and running for the Ash and Hikari fans I wouldn't mind I guess.

No she shouldnt leave. She should leave when she wins a GF not before that. If they take her out and still keep the contests but let someone else do it I'm gonna be mad pis*ed off.

Now that I agree with, your right she shouldn't leave untill she finishes her goals. Its like Ash, if he left before he finished his goals I'd be upset with the writers. I'd want both characters to finish the goals.

I think the real pain in the butt that should leave is Max, May is an up an coming champ on pokemon contest, and she has a bunch more to win and Ash is the face of pokemon so he should stay, but Max is a kid that do not even own his own pokemon.

I think May should stay. I'd like her to win a GF like others said before she leaves.

I'd like to see Brock go home and get his Pokes back from his brother. Or he could just leave.

Max needs a Pokémon. Otherwise he is useless. I'd like to see him go back and get Ralts and become a trainer, otherwise he can just go.

I'd like to see Misty back, maybe replacing Brock. Bored of Brock and Misty seems to have grown alot stronger since she left so would be good to see her back.

May should stay because she is a interesting character. May is nice, friendly, brave and she has a talent. She isn't boring girl who has nothing to do. She has a goal. She must win Grand Festival. I don't wanna see her leaving. First I didn't like her because I liked Misty better, but now I changed my mind. May should stay.

Yes, she better stay, shes become one of my favorite characters and has become almost as big in the anime as Ash has. She has done more than Misty ever has.

Yes, Haruka should most definately stay.

I couldn't give a rats ass if people don't like her or not, or if her fanbase consists mainly of mentally inept fanboys. She's been one of the few characters on this show to have some meaningful development and I just want to see her story arc resolved properly, instead of being cut off for no apparant reason. Having a character exit the show when they haven't even reached their established goal (one that has been worked on, mind) is moronic, whichever way you slice it.
And if she goes, Harley and Shuu go, as well as the many other interesting characters she's already/going to come across. Even if Harley is 'weird and creepy and gay', and even if Shuu is a 'Gary clone and a big fat meanie', they're two of the best characters to hit this show in years. No way in hell should either of those two be sacrificed for any reason.

Also, no Haruka = No Combusken. Can't have that now, can we? NO. WE CAN'T ;)

Yes and no
It's not that I'm undecided about this. I've actually figured what ever happens, works out.
If May stays, we get less fillers, more interesting charas, Pokemon Contests (honestly, they're not that bad) her rivals.
However, I also think of May as the Houen Togepi, *she leeches spotlight and personality from many charas. Harley took James' flamboyancy and love for crossdressing and Drew took his rose.
* It's not that just May steals the spotlight, but the people she introduced did.
I'm with both on here.

Yeah, ok!
I also think it's the ultimate tease to know that there are Super Contests in Shinou and to not have May do them. I mean c'mon, that's like an open-invitation right there!

Not only did GameFreak bring Contests back, but they completely revamped them. If they went through the trouble to make all these new features to Contests in D/P, and since May and the Contest arc are hugely popular in Japan, why in the world would this not continue?

It's almost mind boggling to think otherwise. It's like saying 2 + 2 = 4.

All the cards are set up, all the pieces are in the right place, we just need someone to give a little push. Jesus, it would just defy logic if the opposite happens.

I suppose May should stay just for the sake of the good characters she brings in. Drew and Harley are great characters and there are some cool one shots she introduces. However, the show would be a much better place without Max :(

May's Pokémon should get rebellious and boil her, mash her, and stick her in a stew. Then in the same episode Ash, Brock, and Max are eating the stew for dinner. Ash remarks, "Dang, Brock, this is some good stew! What's in it?"

Brock, confused as to why he is not cooking the meal replies, "I don't know. I didn't cook it. It was just sitting here looking for May when I found it." Just as those words leave his lips, May's Combusken, Skitty, and Bulbasaur appear from behind a bush chewing on her clothes.

"OMG Brock, we ate May!" says Ash. Max starts crying and laughing evilly at the same time. Brock gets sick, vomits out all of his internal organs, and dies.

Rather than holding proper funerals for Brock and May, Ash and Max toss their lifeless bodies in a nearby river and go back home.

Misty comes back because her Politoed staged a militant coup and booted her out of Cerulean Gym. Max returns a few months later, the tragedy of his sister's death having turned him into a cold-blooded killer like Rambo. The three of them go on to continue their Pokémon journey as if nothing had happened, and thus the series continues.
