Pokemon Origins was a great anime special. It brought tons of nostalgia to players of Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed and LeafGreen. The question is, should they make more episodes, on other generations? If you do, maybe you could speculate what the episodes will be about.

I'll go first and say, yes. I think there will be more episodes. Here's how I think it will play.

Episodes 5-8
These episodes would cover the first half of the Johto games, specifically Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver. The story would take place three years after the first four episodes and would focus on Ethan, the male trainer from the games, and his starter, Totodile on their quest to catch all 100 recently discovered Pokemon and become the champion team of Johto.
Episode 5 would focus on the start of the games up to the gym battle against Falkner. Episode 6 would focus on their encounter with Eusine and the legendary beasts, with Totodile evolved into Croconaw. Episode 7 would focus on the Red Gyarados at the Lake of Rage, who Ethan captures, followed by the Radio Tower Battle against Team Rocket, with Croconaw now a Feraligatr. Episode 8 would focus on the battle against Champion Lance, after which after capturing 96 of the new Pokemon, Ethan is invited by the Kimono Sisters to go up to Brass Tower and use the Rainbow Wing to summon and battle Ho-Oh. Like Red's battle against Mewtwo in Episode 4, almost all of Ethan's Pokemon are defeated except Feraligatr, who, just like Red's Charizard, isn't willing to give up, and with help from Ethan and a Feraligatrite Mega Stone given by the Kimono Sisters, mega-evolves into Mega Feraligatr and weaken Ho-Oh so Ethan can capture it. After which, Professor Oak comes to Elm's lab and invites Ethan to battle the Kanto gyms and complete the bigger National Dex, which he accepts.
Episodes 9-12
These episodes would cover the second half of the Johto games. The story would continue immediately after episode 8, and focus on Ethan's journey in Kanto.
Episode 9 would focus on the Gym Battle against Lt. Sarge. Episode 10 would focus on the battle against Suicune at Route 25, with Ethan finally capturing it, and noticing that it has half of a strange stone. Episode 11 would focus on Red VS. Ethan on top of Mt. Silver, ending with Mega Charizard X VS. Mega Feraligatr, which would end in a draw. Episode 12 would have the two trainers teaming up to battle Lugia at the Whirl Islands. All of their Pokemon would fall, even Charizard and Feraligatr, until only Ethan's Suicune is left. Both Red and Ethan aren't willing to give up, and discover that they both have half of the strange stone. They combine their halves together, and find out that it's the Mega Stone Suicuneite!! They both use their Key Stones to mega-evolve Suicune into Mega Suicune, who manages to weaken Lugia. Red allows Ethan to capture it, which he does, therefore finishing his journey to catch all of the new Pokemon! Later though, while having a conversation with Red, Blue, Silver, Lyra, Professor Oak and Professor Elm, Ethan admits that there is still one Pokemon that he hasn't captured, the time-traveler Celebi!! Ethan then makes it his goal to find and capture Celebi, not noticing that it is watching outside, apparently willing to accept Ethan's challenge.
Episodes 13-16
These episodes would cover the Hoenn games, specifically Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. The story would take place around the same time as the first four episodes and would focus on Brendan, the male trainer from the games, and his starter, Treecko, who have been tasked by Professor Birch to find all 135 Pokemon species native to Hoenn, so he can study their habitats even further. They are also asked by Brendan's father, Norman to take on the Hoenn League.
Episode 13 would focus on the start of the games up to the gym battle with Roxanne. Episode 14 would focus on the battle against Team Magma on Mt. Chimney, with Treecko now a Grovyle. Episode 15 would focus on quite a few things involving Teams Magma and Aqua, first the encounter on Mt. Pyre, then the battle against Team Aqua at Seafloor Cavern, followed by encountering and battling Rayquaza at Sky Pillar, so it can stop the battle between Groudon and Kyogre at Sootopolis City, obviously at this point Grovyle's now a Sceptile. During the battle, Rayquaza defeats all of Brendan's other Pokemon, but recognizing Brendan and Sceptile's efforts to not give up, the legendary Pokemon allows itself to be captured by the duo, which they do. Episode 16 would focus on the champion battle against Wallace, after which, after catching 133 different species for Professor Birch's research and competing in all seven Battle Frontier facilities, Brendan is invited by Steven Stone for a friendly battle in a cave in Meteor Falls. The battle gets fierce as Sceptile and Steven's Aggron are the only Pokemon left standing. Steven pauses the battle for a bit and notes how Brendan and Sceptile have come a long way to get to this moment. Steven decides that for the final part of the battle, both Pokemon would be mega-evolved!! So, he hands Brendan a Key Stone and the Mega Stone Sceptilenite, and with Mega Sceptile looking eye-to-eye with Steven's Mega Aggron, the battle resumes. The battle ends up being fierce, but Mega Sceptile holds on and barely manages to defeat Mega Aggron, winning the battle for Brendan. As a reward for winning, Steven tells Brendan about two very rare Pokemon, one that can stay asleep for a thousand years, Jirachi, and one that is said to have originated in outer space, Deoxys. With this knowledge, Brendan sets his sights on finding the two!
Episodes 17-20
These episodes would cover the Sinnoh games, specifically Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. The story would take place sometime after the Red Gyrados incident in Episode 7 and would focus on Lucas, the male trainer from the games, and his starter Turtwig, on their journey to find and capture all 107 Pokemon native to Sinnoh and defeat the Sinnoh Pokemon League.
Episode 17 would focus on the start of the games up to the gym battle with Roark. Episode 18 would focus on the Gym battle against Maylene, with Turtwig evolving into Grotle after the battle. Episode 19 would focus on a series of events involving Team Galactic, with Grotle now a Torterra. First the battle at Lake Valor, followed by the infiltration of the team's headquarters with Looker, then, at Spear Pillar, Lucas, Barry (the rival), and Cynthia watch in shock as Cyrus summons Dialga and Palkia to create a new universe!! As thanks for being freed by Lucas, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf appear to stall Cyrus. Lucas and Barry then battle Mars and Jupiter and win. As Lucas heads over to challenge Cyrus, a big hole suddenly opens up!! And out from it emerges Giratina!! Giratina uses Shadow Force to free Dialga and Palkia from Cyrus' control, then uses the hole to suck everyone inside it into it's home in the reverse world. Cyrus, seeing Giratina meddling with his plans, threatens to kill the reverse world's king! Lucas protects Giratina by battling with Cyrus. Almost all of Lucas' Pokemon are defeated, leaving just Torterra. Lucas and Torterra manage to defeat Cyrus, and Giratina, seeing the bond between Lucas and Torterra, is willingly captured by Lucas. Everyone leaves the reverse world except Cyrus, who wonders if he will ever get to at least see his vision of a perfect universe. Episode 20 would focus on the champion battle against Cynthia, then after a montage of Lucas and Torterra catching 102 Pokemon species (with the explanation for them capturing Regigigas being that they encontered Brendan and Sceptile, with Regirock, Regice and Registeel, searching for clues on the locations of Jirachi and Deoxys), they are at the Battle Frontier, having challenged all the other facilities, and about to battle Palmer at the Battle Tower. Before the battle, Lucas decides to purchase something with his Battle Points, but finds that everything is sold out, except for one thing worth all of his BP, a Mega Stone, Torterranite! When the battle between Palmer comes between Torterra and Palmer's Dragonite, the Torterranite activates, transforming Torterra into Mega Torterra! After a gruesome battle, Mega Torterra wins for Lucas, who wins a Tower Plate! Later, at the main hall, while talking with Professor Rowan and Cynthia, Lucas notices a mural of all the legendary Pokemon of Sinnoh, but he can't identify some of them. Cynthia tells Lucas the identities of the Pokemon he can't recognize, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, and the Original One, Arceus. Realizing that he still has to find them, Lucas sets out!!
Episodes 21-24
These episodes would cover the first pair of Unova games, Pokemon Black and White 1. The story takes place five years after episodes 12 and 20 and would focus on Hilbert, the male trainer, and his starter Tepig, on their quest to capture all 156 species native to Unova, and defeat the notorious Team Plasma.
Episode 21 would focus on the start of the games up to the gym battle against Cress. Episode 22 would focus on the battle against N at Nimbasa City, with Tepig now a Pignite. After the battle, N drops a strange stone as he retreats, and Hilbert wonders what it is. Episode 23 would focus on the encounter with N at Chargestone Cave, followed by the encounter at Dragonspiral Tower, where N obtains the legendary Zekrom!!!! Hilbert and Pignite, now an Emboar, atempt to challenge the two, but N and Zekrom simply flee. Hilbert wonders what N and his team are planning. Episode 24, After obtaining all eight badges and defeating the Elite Four, Hilbert and his team of Pokemon, including Emboar, can hardly wait to challenge Champion Alder and become the champions of Unova. However, when they get up there, they are shocked to see Alder and his team have already been defeated by none other than N and Zekrom!!! N then summons his castle and challenges Hilbert to battle him and Zekrom! Cheren, Bianca, and the Unova Gym Leaders (except Cilan, Chili and Cress) arrive to help battle the rest of Team Plasma so Hilbert can get to N, and Lenora gives Hilbert the Light Stone, beleving it will help him out. On his way to battle N, Hilbert encounters N's sisters, Anthea and Concordia, who tell him about N's childhood. Hilbert is concerned about this as he encounters N and Zekrom at the throne room. N reveals that his ideal is to separate people and Pokemon from each other, believing that people are treating Pokemon like tools and they deserve to be apart in a "black and white" world. Hilbert reveals the truth to N, that there are some people who are like what N thinks, but there are others who treat Pokemon as their friends, because they can see eye-to-eye! This statement of truth causes the Light Stone to glow, and it unleashes a spark of light, reviving Zekrom's "other half" and master of truth, Reshiram!!! Reshiram allows itself to be captured by Hilbert, and Hilbert and N battle using the two legendary dragons!! After a struggling battle, Hilbert and Reshiram are victorious!! However, before Hilbert and his team, along with Alder and Cheren can celebrate the defeat of Team Plasma, one of the Seven Sages, Ghetsis barges in and angerly reveals in front of N, Zekrom and all of Team Plasma, that they and the ideal of people and Pokemon being seperate were none other than puppets for his own plan, to be the only Pokemon trainer left in the world, so he can conquer it easily, thus making him the true leader of Team Plasma!!! Enraged that Ghetsis had used N, Hilbert challenges him to a battle!! He and Reshiram defeat most of Ghetsis' Pokemon, but when his Hydreigon easily defeats Reshiram, Hilbert is shocked!! Telling Reshiram to rest, Hilbert uses his other Pokemon to try and battle Ghetsis' Hydreigon, but they all fall too, leaving just Emboar. Emboar refuses to give up against this tough Pokemon, and seeing the stone he had dropped earlier in Hilbert's bag, N tells him to use it on Emboar. Hilbert does, and Emboar mega-evolves into Mega Emboar!!!!! N reveals that the stone is the Mega Stone Emboarite, and tells Hilbert that he once befriended a Tepig who gave him that Mega Stone as thanks for saving it from drowning. With the new power, Hilbert and Mega Emboar defeat Ghetsis' Hydreigon, and Ghetsis is arrested. As Ghetsis is taken away, Hilbert, with Emboar and Reshiram by his side, tells N and Zekrom about the ideal of a world where people and Pokemon live in peace. With this ideal in their minds, N and Zekrom fly off to explore the world to make this new ideal come true.
Episodes 25-28
These episodes would cover the second pair, Pokemon Black and White 2. The story takes place two years later, but it's kinda slightly different than previous episodes.
Episode 25 would start with a montage of what happened after Hilbert defeated Ghetsis. The montage would include the Battle Subway, Hilbert encountering the Shadow Traid, finding the legendary Tornadus and Thundurus, and taking them to the Abundant Shrine to encounter and catch Landorus. After catching 147 species, Hilbert worries about N and Zekrom, so with Emboar and Reshiram, he leaves the Unova reigon to search for them. He searches Kanto, he searches Johto, he searches Hoenn, and he searches Sinnoh, but can't find them. After two years of searching, he returns to the Unova reigon. When he gets to Professor Juniper's lab and tells her that he couldn't find N, she advises him not to give up. Then she tells him that since he left, more species of Pokemon have been found in Unova, and she offers to upgrade his Pokedex to the New Unova Dex, but he declines, saying that he still needs to finish the old one. Bianca, now Juniper's assistant, then tells Hilbert that she is heading to Aspertia City, to give starter Pokemon to two new trainers. After hearing that one of them is his cousin, Rosa (the female trainer from B&W2), he decides to follow her and pay his cousin a visit. She is happy to see him, and she chooses Oshawott from the starters. She is then given the new Unova Dex and is tasked with finding and capturing all 301 Pokemon on the Dex. Hilbert decides to support her by coming along with her on her journey and the adventure starts! The rest of the episode would cover the events up to the encounter with the new Team Plasma at the Floccesy Ranch. Episode 26 would focus on the Driftwell Tournament battle, which Hilbert, Rosa, Cheren, Bianca, Hugh and the mysterious Colress enter, with Rosa facing Bianca and winning, but losing to Colress, and Hilbert fighting Hugh, Cheren and Colress in that order and winning all three. As Colress leaves after the battle, Hilbert wonders why Colress is so interested in increasing the power of Pokemon, and notices that he left behind a Mega Stone. He wonders which Pokemon mega-evolves from it. Episode 27 would focus on the freezing of Opelucid City. Flashbacks before this moment show that Hilbert and Rosa encountered Cobalion and Virizion, with Rosa catching both. The Shadow Traid get away with a special treasure called the DNA Splicers, and Drayden reveals to Hilbert and Rosa that in addition to Reshiram and Zekrom, there was a third piece that separated from the original dragon of Unova, Kyurem, a Pokemon said to lack the truth and ideals that were given to Reshiram and Zekrom, respectively. After more flashbacks, including the two cosions encountering Terrakion (whom Rosa captures), the episode cuts to the full battle against Team Plasma at the Giant Chasm. When Hilbert and Rosa corner Ghetsis near the exit, he summons Kyurem and orders it to kill Rosa and Hilbert using Glaciate. Thankfully, they are saved by none other than N and Zekrom. But Ghetsis expected them, so using the stolen DNA Splicers, he forces Kyurem to merge with Zekrom to become Black Kyurem!! Hilbert summons Reshiram to deal with Black Kyurem while Rosa deals with Ghetsis. When Black Kyurem is weakened, Ghetsis separates Kyurem from Zekrom and uses the DNA Splicers again to merge Kyurem with Reshiram to become White Kyurem!!! Zekrom, as thanks for freeing it from Ghetsis, returns the favor by battling White Kyurem. Rosa, with her Samurott, defeats Ghetsis' Hydreigon, which causes Ghetsis to snap!! Enraged, he attempts to merge White Kyurem with Zekrom to destroy Hilbert, Rosa and N, but fails, as the splicers seperate Kyurem from Reshiram instead. Hilbert then has Emboar mega-evolve and destroy Ghetsis' sword, allowing Rosa to successfully capture Kyurem. The Shadow Triad then take Ghetsis away, Hilbert and Rosa thank N and Zekrom for helping, and continue on, with a new ally in Kyurem, and the DNA Splicers, so no one can use it for harm again. Episode 28 would focus on Rosa's battle with Champion Iris, then after a montage of Hilbert having 150 species on the old Unova Dex and Rosa having 295 species on the new one (with one explanation being that Hilbert traded Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus for Rosa's Cobalion, Terrakion and Virizion), Alder invites them for a friendly triple battle at Floccesy Town. They need a third helper in the battle, thankfully N is there, learning how people and Pokemon blend in, and he agrees to help. The battle then comes down to the wire with Hilbert's Reshiram, N's Zekrom and Rosa's Kyurem against Alder's Volcarona. Alder notes how the three have learned about the bond between people and Pokemon thanks to the three dragon Pokemon. Hilbert notices the Mega Stone that Colress left earlier glowing and realizes it's Kyuremite, a special Mega Stone said to only activate when it is in close range with the DNA Splicers and the three dragon Pokemon. Hilbert uses his Key Stone to merge and mega-evolve Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem into the original dragon, Mega Kyurem!!! With all three trainers taking turns commanding it, Mega Kyurem defeats Volcarona, and wins for the three. Alder congradulates them and gives them each a medal as proof that they won. And since they commanded Mega Kyurem during the battle, Hilbert's Dex now has entries for Zekrom and Kyurem, while Rosa's has Reshiram and Zekrom, thus completing both Dexs!! Later, when Hilbert is having a conversation with Rosa, Cheren, Bianca, Hugh, N, Juniper and Cedric Juniper, he mentions that he heard in his travels about a Pokemon said to bring better chances of victory, Victini, a Pokemon that was cared by the Swords of Justice, Keldeo, a Pokemon with a habbit of dancing, Meloetta, and an ancient Pokemon modified with technology thanks to Team Plasma, Genesect. Hilbert and Rosa then decide to go look for them, together!!

I will update this post with more episode ideas.

Absolutely, I fell in love with the series, it had plenty of nostalgia and it fixed A LOT of qualms I have with the main show, presenting an interesing way to tell a story in the Pokemon world.

I'd love to see one focusing on Blue next. Episodes 5-6

Then we can go 7-10 on Gold & Silver.

No, because it didn't rate very well, proving the audience isn't there.

It was a pretty good special though, but these things should be kept as specials, no need to over do it.

Well there are gonna be more specials in 2014, however the content of said specials is largely unknown. People are speculating Gold and Silver specials but it can be anything as of now.

You always say the same things I want to say xD

My answer is a no, too.

Hell yes. The show wasn't meant for the little kids who watch the current anime to enjoy so the low ratings is in no way an indicator of quality. If the regular anime turned into this after Kanto people over 10 might still take the show seriously.

Great minds must think alike ahah

In all seriousness, these specials should stay as they are :p

Well, the second Mystery Dungeon special got a sequel, did it not?

The mystery dungeon promo isn't a special, as it's not even an episode, it's just a short 3-4 minute promo/advertisement for the games.

Yes, but only because I want to see how they do Gold/Silver/Crystal (preferably with Kris instead of Lyra) But I really enjoyed Pokemon Origins , it would be great if they expanded upon it!

I thought you meant the Red & Blue part having more episodes to it. If it was 5 or 6 episodes long the fights might not have been complete trash.

I wouldn't mind seeing more of them though. An OVA for each game that comes out would be pretty cool, but they should either make it long enough to pace the non-skipped stuff correctly, or they should skip more stuff and flesh out what they do show better.

Well, I wish the Red and Blue/Green special was a more of a mini series of 12 episodes rather than 4 like what The Legend of Korra was meant to be or other Anime are limited to.

All-or-Nothing!
I think it's fine as it is for just 4 episodes, I mean it is just a special. But of course, there is a chance it could get an OVA to go along with it, which is completely fine, I don't mind it. Pokémon Origins was pretty good.

Fire trainer
Honestly,no.It was so rushed and silly, cutting through the more interesting parts.I hated that Red had to use Charizard to finish every battle, like his other pkmn weren't strong enough...stupid.Too much Charizard.

And a Gold and Silver equivalent of the Origins will basically be the same. The kid chooses the Fire starter[because it's cool>.>] and he uses it continuously. We don't get to see most of the gym battles but we do get to see little melodramas,a love story between him and his Fire breathing monster."Oh,Typhlosion,I love your warm breath on my neck.My love will make you Mega evolve and be the master of DEM and I capture all those legendaries and I don't use them because I only want you! You,my darling sexy flaming back Typhlosion!"

So,I spoiled the whole story.I saved them a lot of production money. They should be grateful.

THE END.

Oh, why so?

So maybe the battles weren't such crap -_-...

1 episode for each gym, 4 episodes for the pokemon league. Maybe throw in an episode or two for the extra stuff.

This would of been much better.

Did you hear? Some guy hacked Pokemon X and Y and found only two hidden Mega Evolutions, Mega Latias and Mega Latios. If you ask me, I think that there are still Mega Evolutions we don't know of yet, and that Nintendo and GameFreak are waiting until the next game(s) to show more, so it doesn't affect my episode ideas.
