Should Porygon-Z be introduced in the anime?

Well since that accident with Porygon it wasn't mentioned in the anime again. Neither was later Porygon-2. It was long ago. What do you think?

Are writers ready to get back Porygon-Z or will we have to face that it will never appear again in the anime?

I would too. But lets face it, the chances of Porygon coming back are really small.

It should, and so should Porygon-2 for that matter. The whole incident surrounding the episode it was in that got banned wasn't really its fault, and a lot of Pokemon get episodes devoted to themselves without ever using an attack, so it's not really that big a deal.

But realistically, the Porygon line is never coming back to the anime. The writers of the anime don't like causing offense and the incident caused by the Porygon episode was a big deal at the time. They don't want to risk bringing the whole thing up again, even ten years later.

I would like to see PorygonZ I mean come on, every pokemon has to be in the anime right? But the chances are very slim seeing how the world got balistic over the seizure thing

The way I see it, if they managed to pull Pikachu out of that episode without any problem, then Porygon should be fine too.

But the most they would probably do is appear in a movie "World Of Pokemon" opening.

They should have Paul mention that he owns a Porygon-Z but never show it. A mention of the Porygon family couldn't hurt.

I think that porygon-Z or 2 should appear as some sort of camo like seeing it on a picture. That way no porygons will be in the show phisicaly, parents wont freak, and no seizures will happen.(even if it was pikachus fault)

The producers need to stop being so afraid of the Porygon line. It wasn't even Porygon's fault the accident happened. It was Pikachu, and Team Rocket's fault.

I'm tired of such an awesome family of Pokemon being constantly ignored.

Yep, it wasn't Porygon's fault. Unless staring at it's geometric *** while it was carrying Ash and co. is what caused the seizures, I don't see how they could have possibly pinned the blame on it at all.

What seems weird to me is that they even continued having Team Rocket use missles/rocket launchers after this happened. Obviously they couldn't just ditch Pikachu or Team Rocket without giving at least an episode of explaination so what do they blame? Porygon. They should have just blamed it on the missles and never had them in pokemon again.

It's a real shame, we could have seen some pretty interesting league battles featuring Porygon-2 or Z and gotten some interesting episodes.

How about an episode during the Team Rocket arc in Johto where their scientists made their own Porygon and Porygon-2 to do their bidding.

How bout a Sinnoh filler involving Porygon-z? It gets trapped in a computer or something and causes all pokemon who get transferred from their storage place (Oak for Ash, Johanna for Dawn, Caroline for May, Pewter Gym for Brock) to their trainers to contract a virus which causes them to go insane?

IIRC, it was stated in the Pokebeach interview that they wouldn't bring back the Porygon family since it would bring back bad memories of the seizure incident. So Porygon and its family is doomed to live in shame for the rest of its poor life.

I know what happened was horrible but I think it's time to get over it, move on. Obivously the writers wouldn't make the same mistake again. And Porygons can just use Tri attacks and tackle, or aleast appear somewhere. (Of course it shouldn't be in too many epsiodes if it's manmade, I can't picture a hundreds of Porygon lines in one field).
And if we can't get over it then why borther creating Porygon 2 and Z? Why did they even bother if it's never gonna show up in the anime... OKay sure there's the games but still.
