Should they resolve the GS Ball plot?

Should this plot be "truly" finished? Or left alone?

  • Yes, they should finish, it would answer many questions.

  • No, they just just leave it alone. It's tool late now.

I've been thinking about this lately. It was never really discovered what exactly was in the GS ball. Most of us would assume celebi, but they never did do much with it. Prof. Oak and the gang used to make a really big deal out of getting the ball to Kurt, and it really took them a long time to get to Azalea town in the first place. But, after dropping the ball off there, baely anything was said about it, if anything at all. They just left it. A lot of people do consider this to be one of the "worst" plots every in the pokemon anime, but I was thinking, would it be good if they resolved it? I mean, they could have a new special episode where they deal with it finally, assuming that it took a long time for Kurt to accomplish. They could bring back Ash and co., and I was thinking the G/S/C characters Marina, Jimmy, and maybe Jackson/Vincent, and maybe Euscine. They could havecelebi in the ball, another one or something, and have mysterious powers relating to the Ilex Forest, to be like the protector, while the other one can visit forests and stuff, and you know just make a better plot than what they currently did with it. So, do you think they should truly resolve that plot? I mean, it would be great to make the mystery unsolved an all.

No, I seriously doubt they will ever return to the plot as the writers seem to forget a lot of stuff or start a new side-plot and forget to solve it or they just don't know how.

Only if they ever revisted Johto, and one would have to consider that to pretty slim. Because at least then it would give them an excuse to resolve it. Other than that I would have to be in the same boat here as everybody else and say no.

No. It's far worse than being tool late - a tool late is better than no tool at all, mind you - it's TOO late! It'd seem...odd...to suddenly bring it up again. Especially now that the games that the GS ball was promoting are one gen, almost TWO gens, old. It's not like the GS ball was ever anything more than a cheap plot device to explain Ash going to the Orange Islands, and setting up for him to go to Johto later, anyway. :<

I think they should bring it up , but i was wondering why could they not pass by a pokemon transporter?
I don't know, it was a weird ball. I was just thinking that the writers should correct themselves over this big hole in that plot. It left many questions to be unanswered.

Yes, they should. Unfortunately, at their rate, they won't. Even if they did, the GS Ball wouldn't be as special anymore because the Johto arc, not to mention Hoenn arc, has already passed.

The GS stands for Gratuitous Sex. It was created by Oak to get Ash the heck away so he could continue to screw around with his mom. We all know this, and thus, there's no need for resolution.
Pokemopolis ftw!

I doubt it, Johto is long gone.

Unless:

They do a Colosseum/XD adaption and they go to the Relic Forest and Eagun will somehow get the GS Ball.

But those chances are pretty slim.

No. Why would they even bother to do so? There's really no point in opening it now, as Ash an co. have probably forgotten all about it. And if they were going to make a special about it, I think that Kurt would grow angry after not being able to open the GS ball after over two years, so he just pried it open with a wrech, and discovered that it was empty inside. That would be an interesting two minutes.

The writers could refresh their memery...I think they should do a special and conclude it, as I've said, it left many questions not answered, quetions I'm sure that nearly everyone might have solved.

I think they should solve the plot. I just hate it when things go unsolved. I doubt they ever will, but they should, maybe make a movie where the group goes back to Johto for a visit to their good old friend Kurt or a plot like Tamagon The Nintendo Dragon brought up.

Yeah, even though I doubt they will, I still think they should. It would be good for them to cover that large plot hole in the anime that they mistakively left. I would relly love to see it happen. That's probably what they should've done with that other celebi special with richie in it.
