Shouldn't Ash and Brock have girlfriends?

Ash must be about 14 15 now and Brock like 20 21 you'd think they would have girlfriends ash should go out with Dawn and Brock should leave ash and dawn and go out with Pike Queen Lucy, but my friends think differently
What does everyone else think?

that will never happen.....and i think Ash is still 10 years old in there (there isn't any time sense in there) and the whole beuty in Brock is that he chases after all those girls with no success what so ever

Brock loves Nurse Joy too much to be worrying about someone else as a girlfriend. As for Ash, I dunno. I don't watch the anime very much, so I can't say too much.

But think about it how many examples have we've seen of trainer when they were younger. Some examples are Ash,Gary,May,Brock,Misty,Dawn,Kenny,Harley,E4 Aaron, Pryce, even Professor Oak and Deila have been seen in Flashbacks being younger. So time has to pass. Plus there are example where some evens are held annually. like the Whirl Cup which is held every 3 years. It just that now it seem that in the present time goes on without them ever aging.

Ah hell, this gets closed. Not only have Ash and friends not aged since the series' conception (obviously they had aged prior...odd stuff), and not only is Brock forever hopeless in love, but what is there to discuss here that won't result in ludicrous fantasies?
