Unpopular opinion but Serena short hair>>>Serena long hair

Happy 6th anniversary to the most pivotal moment of Serena’s development.

One day, her and Ash will be together again.

I guess I wasn't the only one who noticed how this episode has pretty much foreshadowed how the XY saga is going to end, with Serena having to decide between traveling with Ash on his next journey or getting advice from Palermo, who has taken an interest in her. As for Serena's new hair and outfit, I think it looks ok. My favorite part about it is that this is one of the few times when a main character has gone through an aesthetic change.

I would have liked it if she stayed with Ash but oh well. At least she kissed him and that was statisfying.

Two unpopular opinions:

-Serena's decision of cut hair was a big overreaction (I know the meaning, but still)
-XY053 was the best Serena's episode, because unlike in this episode, she showed a lot of personality and desire to follow her dreams and fight for it.

Excluding the dramatic ending and how Fennekin's tripping was also more dramatic than needed, the episode was overall good as an introduction on Serena's journey in Showcases.
