Shuckle.... why?

*I hope this isn't in the wrong place, I just didn't want to put it into RMT because... it's not a rate. And I hope it isn't bad in any other way.*

Anyway, with all the talk about how crappy shuckle is, I decided to make a bunch of original sets, mostly for fun:

3HKOShuck:
Shuckle@lefties/leichi berry
adamant nature
- rock slide
- toxic/wrap
- encore
- rest/safeguard

Seriously, at lvl 30, it 3HKO'ed a lvl 37 Dodrio with rock slide!
I also made ExtremeAnnoyerShuck, a guaranteed 'I'm ripping my hair out with frustration' from your friends, but that's beside the point.
I do agree, however, that Shuckle is in fact LMAO for Competetive, but he's very fun to use in-game, since as I said he can 3HKO a flying type at lvl 30 with only 24 Attack.
So my question is, why don't people use him at all, and why is he so bad in-game when besides the BF the highest level is 58?

um, I know, the standard set is Toxic / Wrap / Rest / Encore.
I'm asking, why don't people use him at all, like why is he so NU?
I know it has bad HP and speed, but i've found with 3HKOShuck that it can be pretty good, and fun.

well it could be he is hard to train. seeing as how his attacking strenght isn't that good. I would just go with like umbreon who could at least heal.

You train him by using a lucky egg and then switching...
Still,
(atk=26)
26+(75*1.5)*2=224
is the damage to that dodrio, not counting it's defenses.
So, I guess this thread can be about any NU/UU pokemon, and why they are that actually.
I'm just asking why people don't use shuckle a lot, I find it very fun to use.

Nobody uses Shuckle in-game because there's no game where you can actually get one at a reasonable time. Earliest is in like... GSC around the time of the 5th badge, and by then most people have a full team or a bug/rock type.

I get your point.

But it takes way too long to defeat an opponents Pokemon In-Game with Shuckle.

Shuckle is great against Pokemon that don't have Stat upping moves.

meh, it's very fun.
I agree the STANDARD set, which happens to SUCK takes about 10 turns to defeat a lvl 7 whishmur, but not mine.

Why would you have a bad Pokemon that can 3HKO when you can have a good one that can OHKO?

First overrated, then underrated.

And I'll tell you the truth, I defeated an Entei with Shuckle. I used Toxic then Rested some times and got rid of him like that.
I actually defeated tons of Pokemon with Shuckle.
