*Shuckle*

Well, I need a good moveset for my Shuckle in Emerald. I thought about this one:

Encore
Earthquake
Toxic
Substitute

First Substitute (Shuckle's defense is teh best), Encore, Toxic and then Earthquake to sweep away. What do you think?

but actually teaching it substitute is better than teaching it sand storm.
And by the way I teached it protect so I can waste more turns when I use toxic.

Shuckle sweeping? I think I hurt something from laughing so hard.

Shuckle might have the best base defenses, but its defenses are negated by its HP. Not to mention that you can't touch Steel/Poison types, especially Skarmory and Weezing. Earthquake won't do jack to anything, especially with base 10 Attack and no STAB.

Don't use Shuckle. It's called "Suckle" for a reason.

is THE BEST shuckle set you will get, without resorting to ***gish measures like double team.

also Sub/Heal bell/aroma/poisons/steels/common sense/seismic toss/night shade/rest etc

all those pretty much mean shuckle is useless

I can't help but wonder sometimes why people use Shuckle so much when Weezing/Skarmory are actually easier to get InGame. That's not even including the fact that you get them about twice as soon as Shuckle ._.

I've heard CBShuckle with Rock Slide, Adamant, and 252 Attack EVs will actually OHKO Charizard/Moltres every now and then. Lol Shuckle is teh ownz.

Yeah, but F_M's set was the best for it, and ~*CB*~'s was lolz unless it had el perfecto attack IVs, EVs, and nature. I should know. I'm shuckleman.

Shuckle sucks, and it isn't even cool unlike Sneasel.

Or, you could try this very nubbish but original yet please don't use it in serious battles 'cause it won't do much.

As I said, USE ONLY FOR NOVELTY REASONS. Rock Slide 2HKOs a lot of stuff that's weak to it though, and Earthquake 2-3HKOs Aggron/Raikou.

You NEED at least one attacking move on Shuckle. It doesn't matter if you never use it, just if you run into a Tauntrados or the like.

But if you run into a Tauntrados you're screwed with a Shuckle anyway, so yeah. >_<

Fixed. And BTW, stop saying sux. #1, it's a pointless abbreviation of 'sucks', which isn't that hard to type out ._. #2, you're wrong every time say that, and the more you say that a move 'sux', the more you're just proving yourself to be more and more of a dunce.

On Topic: Don't use Shuckle. At all. Ever. It serves no purpose in any Team and just dies far too quickly. But if you absolutely must use one, use nooblet's set.

No it doesn't. It forces the opponent to do one move over and over again such as curse or thunder wave (especially when you have a sub up). It allows you to use the most powerful fighting move in existence without fear of getting hit and mispredicting. It also allows you to set up (hello alakazam) or allow one of your other pokemon to set (hello bellyzard,this is a strategy which is dangerous when it works but futile when it doesn't). It also forces switches making good use of spikes (hello humpluff). Along with shadow tag, it made wobby uber.
