The Berry Juice item does exist in the 3rd gen games, but you can ONLY get it off of wild Shuckle in FR/LG. Since there aren't any, the only way you can obtain this item is by cheating for it, as it isn't normally available otherwise.

Shuckle can't "make" Berry Juice like in G/S/C. Sorry.

Wait...you can get Shuckle in the Japanese editions of those versions using the E-Reader, naja? Trading it to another language edition using a Pokemon as a messenger would be legitimate like trading a legit Japanese Celebi to such a cartridge. So, I would deem by a rather long stretch it's legitimate, like in the Celebi sense. But the chances of that occuring are much too slim, so it's essentially not available for us.

What about the wild Shuckles in the Altering Cave?

there there are but if he/she hasn't got an e-reader tough luck the only place i can think of is safari zone

what about in emerald? ive caught 2 shuckles and both of them are from the safari zone and there holding an oran berry will this change into the infomouse berry juice?

No. Shuckles always hold Oran Berries in Emerald. It's only FR/LG where they hold Berry Juice.

I guess if they had ever done anything with Altering Cave then yes, you could get the Berry Juice from Shuckle in FR/LG, but since you can't, it's an unobtainable item.

I think that nintendo doesnt plan these things out some times.

BTW, exactly how much HP des the berry juice restore any way. And there is no known way to access the pokemon in the altering cave, not even e-cards work.

I believe trading/battling other Pokemon players (friends) changes the Pokemon in Altering Cave. I'm probably wrong, you wait...

Yeah, unfortunately that's not true. Please read my Emerald FAQ for a full explanation on Altering Cave.

In short, it was a Wonderspot feature that never got used by Nintendo. There's no way to change Altering Cave Pokemon at this time.
