I checked up on:

today, and found something much to my distress....all of the winners of the regional tournaments had legendaries/ubers in their teams! Now, I don't hold it against them, as they have some pretty good strategies with 'em, but I do find it kind of-not tight. I would use my regular team of six, which contains no ubers/legendaries, which I think is pretty good. I just don't think using legendaries is fair. I suppose I could live with one legendary on a team, but some of these guys had six legenedaries on their team!

Some "regular" pokemon are actually stronger than some legendaries. But I think it would be better if they had some kind of limit, at least, on the ubers, otherwise the "winning" teams become very boring and monotonous.

Exactly. Though I suppose it didn't matter since I bet sometime there were two trainers up against each other, both with six legendaries/ubers.

Some good strategies I thought:
Kyogre with Quick Claw
Suicune with Calm Mind

I find it pathetic... you cant demonstrate your true skills a Pokemon Trainer using all Legendries... A real trainer using technics and a brain can win every battle using something like a Caterpie (^.^; or something a little better....)

The way I see it, it's completely fair as long as the other teams used ubers, too. The uber game actually isn't that monotonous, and is open for many new possibilities for OU's to be used along with ubers.
