So, which kind of things could you recommend to Pokémon fans that in one way or another is similar to or relates to Pokémon? Keep in mind, this is not a thread dedicated to your favourite manga or videogames, things have to relate to Pokémon somehow.
Videogames:
- Monster Rancher. You train and raise monsters for battle.
- Digimon. Most of you probably know about it.
- Earthbound. There is no monster collection, but the design of the game itself is like Pokemon (a kid with a red baseball cap, travelling around through nature and cities to reach 8 specific spots, meeting weird creatures along the way, not to mention that the gameplay is kinda like Pokémons gameplay.)
- Keitai Denjuu Telefang: This game is a straight up Pokémon ripoff in regards to the gameplay, aswell as you collecting and training monsters for battle, although the concept of a digital world makes it have some remarkable Digimon concepts in it too.
Movies:
- The Thing. It makes me think about how terribly dangerous a creature Ditto could be in the real world.
- Magical Creatures and Where to Find Them: The movie is all about many different monsters.
- Kaiju movies like Godzilla, Kingkong, etc., if you specifically likes to see huge monsters in action. They feature several nice battles between the various titans.
Anime:
- YuGiOh, although the monsters merely exists in the cards there.
- Medabots, every kid battles each other with their own robot partners.
- Digimon.

- Toriko: His world is full of vastly different creatures that he has to hunt down.
