Since SPOILER appears in the BW games, will we get what we were denied in DP?

If you check Pokebeach, you'd see that Cynthia appears in the BW games, and you can actually battle her.

I honestly cannot believe it. Cynthia, the champion from the last gen, also appears in the next. We haven't had this since Lance in Kanto/Johto.

In DP191, we see Ash imagining himself in Flint's place battling Cynthia with Infernape.

Could we finally get what we were denied in DP, and see Ash battling Cynthia in a champion league?

I really don't think that'll be the case in Best Wishes at all. I'm all for older characters appearing in cameo appearances in Best Wishes, I just don't want her (Cynthia) to cut into the story since this (Isshu) isn't her home region to begin with. Best Wishes should feature Ash taking on new challenges and not old ones so I really hope she doesn't finally battle Ash. The writers had their chance in Sinnoh and they blew it >:|

Also, the Isshu Elite 4 had no real champion, but the rival of the game. Kinda of like how Gary was the champion in RBY instead of there being someone else.

I doubt it'll be the case in the anime.

Wow, Cynthia's back. She sure must be popular to be back in the BW games.

Maybe we will see her again. Again, the writers are good with continuity. Maybe we get to see Ash vs. Cynthia at the end of Isshu (which could be a battle where Ash can use pokemon from all gens like Pika, Infernape, Daikenki, Sceptile, one of the regional birds, and one of the wildcard reserves, etc.).

But like I said, I only see that at the very end of Isshu/BW.

Well we can't just have an all powerful character as fleshed out as she is disappear like that. If she appears in the anime, this gives me hope that Takuto and Paul will return.

Wow, I'm impressed with the character continuity in BW. Since this is supposed to be faster paced, maybe it's possible to see E4 matches, Seven Sages, Belle, and Cynthia?

i think he needs to do what he did for the frontier, just go all out with his best pokes, its the like same thing over and over, they need to make him grow up alot more without brock (because brock did give him alot of battle advice and coach him in matches), win a league, get his strongest pokemon beat the elite 4, and challenge cynthia

They just felt they should focus on the E4 of the Generation more. The Isshu E4 will probably get as much focus.

Pokemon Pt has cameos of G/S characters, Ash never battled them. Lance made an appearance in AG, Ash never battled him. The wishful thinking is getting ridiculous at this point. When will you people accept that Ash is in a perpetual running mill. Some people were denied their brains, it seems.

I don't see why Ash can't defeat a champion and remain on that "wheel" however. Champions aren't "pokemon masters." There are multiple of them and Pokemon Master has always been referred to in the singular tense. "I'm gonna be the very best."

I wonder...didn't Cynthia say she can't wait until the day either Ash or Paul face her in the champion league...not saying it's gonna happen, it's way too early to say that. But it's something to think about for the moment.

I honestly think the Cynthia battle will be exclusively in the games, but you never know, Jasmine did make a cameo in both the games and anime, where she even had a battle with Ash, so the same could happen with Cynthia. I would love to see that match because I think Ash truly deserved to win the Sinnoh League and battle her. But what I really want to see is a full battle, they'll probably just make it a 1 vs 1 match if anything.

I think Cynthia will make a great final battle against Ash.
Whether it be before the Seven Sages, or after, or wherever in his story.
And just because the E4 have 4 Pokemon, wouldn't that strict Ash to 4 as well?

I don't want Ash to turn back into a noob, I want him to keep growing as a trainer with pokemon like the ones he caught in sinnoh, not regress backwards.

Maybe its only for the game? Because Belle is the Isshu champion. If anything, Ash should battle vs her.
