For starters, the games have never put trainers on the box covers, and if it were a real game, they wouldn't be reusing the Emerald trainer. Secondly, why on earth would a overly common semi-evolved pokemon be on the front cover of a game? Pidgeotto is hardly the big star of Pokemon Gold now is it? Thirdly The pixel density between the main image and the trainer is way off. Even if the flattened image were saved as a JPEG and forced to lose quality, it would be sharper than that, putting more evidence against it to say the source images were of different ratios. Fourthly, they've not even bothered to properly resize the image for the cartridge sticker.
Lastly, Edward Elric closed this once, for the exact same reason I'm closing it now. You'd have to be one hell of an idiot to seriously think this was a real game.
