Singles or Doubles?

Singles. More strategy in every way, and more strategies that are useful and usable. I'm not using idiotic things such as "RainRoom" and "SunnyRoom" in Singles, and I'm certainly not using them in Doubles.

Single Battles are fun in some ways (Earthquake/Discharge/lava Plumb Not hiting buddy), But in double you have more comanations. I think that everyone should just use the pokemon they like, cause when everyone is using certain teams, it's more like Rock, Paper, Scissors, while if everyone did what they want and mixed stuff up, It would be more like chess. Belive it or not, every pokemon can do good... a personal favorite stratagy is EV training pokemon Were the arn't normaly good (VERY, VERY High Attack Umbreon)... Ya.

Well I play singles right now because I don't have a doubles team yet... I'm working on one right now. Anyways Doubles are my fave because of all the strstegic combos available. And as for moves like Lava Plume and Discharge, they work AMAZINGLY in doubles if used right. An example from the team I'm working on now (A Flash Fire, Lava PLume team) I have two Flareons out and they both Lava Plume every turn while they are scarfed. Flash Fire boosts em every turn do to them hitting each other with fire moves every turn. I also tossed a heatran in for more power... Anyways if you want to see my team look at ElectiCrow's thread stating that he's looking for team ideas, and while you're at it, give him some ideas of your own just to be nice to him. XD And PLEASE Leave FC's for me.

Doubles here, strategies and totally unpredictability in a battle with 4 pokemon is exhilarating.

Double Battle was one of the greatest addition I could think of the 3rd generation. I mean it's the way of battle where Teampokes can really support each other, while in Single you just have limited actions like 5-Round-moves or Baton pass..

Double provide more of a strategy,

but single are more original.

they both have their ups and downs.

I like singles, walls tend to be more reliable. For example, Blissey is faced with an alakazam and lucario. No question (assuming its a physical variant) that Lucario will attack Blissy, Mixed walls tend to be more reliable, even if they don't have a recovery move (i.e. Registeel)

I prefer singles because whenever I do doubles its just ghosts and explosion.

It gets really annoying.

I like double battles more because each pokemon can cover up for each other's weakness. It lets you build abigger and better strategy, and, I guess it's just more action -packed than single battle with four moves per round rather than two.

double battles are my favorite :p

Doubles have a lot of fun...
It's much more unpredictable and so many options...
People prefer single because they have more control...
It's smowhow good, but makes it a little less funny...
Set games and matches according to strategies worldwide spread...

I'm used to Doubles. I tried Singles way back in the past but I was a pokenoob then so I didn't realy have any strategies or Ev trained Pokemon back then so I was very terrible. My team was actually Jynx, Furret, Rapidash, Piplup, another Piplup, and an Unown-D shape. All from the GTS except 1 Piplup I wouldn't evolve just because I thought it was cute. I was that terrible. :p
