Sinister Scott?

This is kinda weired, but has anyone else noticed that Scott seems to be made out to have an ulterior motive for forming the Battle Fronteir? A lot of the NPCs mention things that seem strange about him, questioning why he built the place, yet never battles, and things like that. Anyone found anything in the other cities about him? It seems kind of intresting…

Of what i've heard in the english version of emerald you must have all symbols in gold then get the two berries off him but don't use them. Then when you go into the cave of Smeargle there will be a berrie patch and when you plant them when you come back pick them and you fall inside another cave and you can find Celebi and Mew depending which berries you took first. You are then teleported outside and do it again to get the other.

I'm pretty sure that's not true though.

Excuse me, but I think you don't know as much as you think you do- Scott gives you the Silver and Gold Shields, as well as the berries and the 3 BP he gives you the first time you talk to him.
