Slaking Moveset

Well, for a future Slaking, I'm thinking about using this moveset, but I'm not sure about it:

Slaking@Leftovers
Docile (will probably breed for Adamant)
-Return
-Skill Swap
-Focus Punch
-Shadow Ball

The thing I need advice on is Skill Swap. I'm thinking about using it to rid myself of the Truant ability, and hopefully use theirs to my advantage. I don't know whether it will be of any use, so could I please have some advice on whether I should keep it or replace with something else, ie. Earthquake

No, I think that it's more likely that people will say:
"OMG SLAKING DOESNT LEARN SKILL SWAP!!!!111"

So... yeah. *Ryan*'s moveset looks good to me. Rock Slide is another option you may want to consider for Slaking.

EDIT: using moves like brick break and rock slide is pointless on slaking

STABed Return = 153 power
Super Effective Brick Break = 150 power
SE Rock Slide = 150 Power

pretty pointless imo when return will do more

Anyway, use the set that*Ryan* gave you. You might want to consider something else over Focus Punch though. Focus Punching ingame without sub sorta sucks IMO (unless its against shuckle and umbreon)

Slakings are KEWL!! How about the following?

Slaking: Adamant nature
Yawn
Focus Punch
Shadow Ball
Hyper Beam

Yes, besides my level 100 Slaking being hasty and not adamant, it has served me well. I almost think it qualifies as oober.;289;

Don't use Hyper Beam. And YawnPunching sorta doesn't work thanks to Truant

*Ryan*'s set is absolutely perfect. I reccomend you use it.

I know this is a stupid question but why is Hyper Beam SO bad on Slaking?

Is it because he misses a turn with Truant, then needs to recharge, then misses another turn with Truant?

No, its just that you can't switch out, and its only 5(8) PP and 90% accuracy. It isn't SO bad

Oh right... Sorry it's just the combo I saw was a 2 on 2 with a Gardevoir and Slaking and I couldn't remember if it was Slaking or the other Poke that used it, so I'll just go with the CB set.

Oh and 0mastar you're not the only person who looks at th damage calculations on Smogon for Rock Slide and Brick Break against Return. I already knew that.
