Following the successful creation of a Stall team i've kinda come to realize how cool and useful walls and stalling are. This isnt a stall team, just thought i'd say that. Heres another team that needs help, mainly with Slowbro's last slot so...please input would be really appreciated :)

dpmfb068.png

Machamp(m)@Life Orb
Impish (+def -satk)//Guts
252 HP/ 56 Atk/ 44 Def/ 156 Sdef
- Cross Chop
- Stone Edge
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

This fella was developed on one of my first competitive teams amd i've been trying to find somewhere to put him. So, when looking for an offensive ResTalking lead...look who i found! Resting activates Guts and since he's bulky he doesnt need speed very much so Adamant is in place for a huge power boost. Life Orb adds to the edge especially since he can Rest away any unpleasant Life Orb recoil -- aha! Ahem. Brick Break for a potent and reliable hit (high accuracy and god-like power when concidering ORB, GUTS and STAB with ADAMANT =p) Stone Edge handles any lead flyers and also late-game ones too, I was concidering EQ but then Gengar leads would wall him totally.

dpmfb205.png

Forretress(m)@Leftovers**Physical Wall
Relaxed(+def -spd)//Sturdy
252 HP/ 96 Def/ 162 Sdef
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball

Standard physical wall. May replace him however for someone else, albiet who is beyond me.
Spikes hits the incoming pokes and allows even Forrey to deal out some KO's, whereas Rapid Spin protects my pokes from the same treatment (especially Salamence and Mamoswine). Earthquake has decent power and coverage whilst Gyro Ball is a potent STAB that many many pokes hate -- especially nippy foes like Weavile. However, I am wondering about Zap Cannon and if it could serve better > EQ or GyroBall -- then again, right now i'm wondering if Bronzong would better suited as a physical wall especially due to his Ground Immunity...o_O.

dpmfb385.png

Jirachi(-)@Leftovers**Special Wall
Calm(+sdef -atk)//Serene Grace
252 HP/ 252 Sdef/ 6 Def
- Wish
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Substitute

Ahhh...my new beloved. An awesome Special Wall and general team supporter. With correct prediction he can easily set up Max Calm Minds (done it several times) and although he can get walled by TTar and other Dark Types anything that isn't Dark Typed often suffers OHKO against Psychic. Jirachi likes subbing, then wishing and minding which when ordered correctly means he can take alot while he gathers his own defences -- coool.

dpffa373.png

Salamence(f)@Life Orb/Leftovers**Special Wisher
Modest(+satk-atk)//Intimidate
252 HP /184 Def/ 74 Satk
- Wish
- Flamethrower
- Draco Meteor
- Toxic

You'll either love or hate SpecsMence, with great coverage and great special attack potencial the Specs were made for her.

dpmfb080.png

Slowbro(m)@Leftovers**Physical Wall
Bold (+def -atk)//Own Tempo
212 HP / 252 Def / 44 SpA
- Slack Off
- HP Electric
- Surf
- Yawn/Thunder Wave

A last minute substitution. I looked at the many Standard sets for Slowbro. Slack Off is a godsend for Slowbro and means he can stall and wall for a long while :) HP Electric makes him a certifiable Gyarados counter, whereas Surf allows him to STAB other physical walls such as Rhyprieor and Gliscor -- not to mention the rascally Fire Monkey. The final slot is the only slot on the whle team thats undecided. Yawn is nice because it forces switches and finally Grass Knot. Grass Knot settles my fears of Don Shirt (Swampert), since as few know i'm a registered Pert-a-Phobe -- and Grass Knot would allow him to counter all forms of Pert.

dpffb473.png

Mamoswine(f)@Choice Band**Dragon and Bug Murderer
Adamant(+atk -satk)//Snow Cloak
200 HP/ 184 Def/ 126 Atk
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Peck

...and finally -- my big girl! Mamoswine, is THE Dragon and Bug murderer. Adamant and Choice Band make her devastating with Ice Shard which bypasses her terrible speed. Earthquake when needed allows for a very strong STAB (with Band remember) and Stone Edge helps take down any Flyers whom Resist Ice, more commonly two/three legendary birds Moltres and Articuno, Charizard and Skarmory. Peck, although an odd last slot is all she has to offer...but it has the natural benefit of being able to OHKO Heracross and many other fighters to boot, so...it can't be too bad eh.

Comments and flames welcome, thanks in advance ^_^

On the Slowbro, the last slot would be best used for Calm Mind.
It gives Slowbro good Sweeping capabilities, and bolsters its Sp Def.

Grass Knot would be used for Bulky Waters or Swampert, but with Calm Mind HP Elec, it looks like you could handle water types well.

Grass Knot was there for Swapert for a quick KO. However, depending how well other pokes can handle him i can drop it...

Calm Mind I think is my preferred choice since it offers Mix Walling and also decent damage too...

might as well use draco meteor/wish/toxic/flamethrower salamence.

means you can put the superior toxic spikes > spikes on forry and not have to worry about heracross at all.

yawn is probably better on slowbro. thunder wave is also usable.

What nature is that Wish-mence also don't the EV's need adjusting for a more bulky variation?

What about Swampert? (FEAR LOOMING lol)

toxic makes swampert regret switching in. nature is bold or modest. evs just need to be defencive.

Ammended Thanks a bunch :)

Is Salamence okay? Bit EV concerned and tempted to run Life Orb and Wish away damage...at least the team is Wish supported lol

Heh, Swampert doesnt seem as scary now lol

leftovers. might as well max HP.

252 hp / 184 def / rest in satk

dont worry about sdef, 252 hp lets you take surfs/flamethrowers well anyway.

I was more worried about Ice Beams...but after running damage calcs it would take max HP and Sdef with a +sdef nature to come off good against one...not worth it :)

Thanks for all the help Aipomkong ^____^

Cross Chop is still better on Machamp. Super CH rate on both moves is gg.

252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef
Impish.

Will rate rest later maybe.

Ice Fang / Toxic over Peck. Toxic kills off Cress who'll swap into you, Ice Fang hurts and Freezes stuff more. Peck is pretty useless.
Bronzomg cannot be countered unfortunately :(
Though it isn't all THAT popular.

Fire Moves will kill you completely. Sub NP Houndoom = 6-0.

Thanks for the full rate, but how does Houndoom KO Machamp or even Salamence? I understand why Salamence 'could' be countered by him, after a Nasty Plot HP Ice would kill Mence (even before)...but Machamp wouldnt allow him to NP and without a SE move on him champ's Cross Chop (or former Brick Break) would be a OHKO.

EDIT: What if I swapped Salamence for an Arcanine? I have two versions in mind...the first may be more effective at hitting Houndoom...

Arcanine(m)@Life Orb
Modest (+satk -atk)//Flash Fire
252 Satk/ 200 Sdef/ 58 Sspd
- Flamethrower (or HeatWave)
- HP Fighting
- Dragon Pulse
- Agility

Agility turn one then (especially if he comes in on a Flamethrower), then HP Fighting...

or

Arcanine(m)@Life Orb
Naive (+spd -sdef)//Flash Fire
68 Atk/188 Spd/252 SAtk
- Flare Blitz
- Extremespeed
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Dragon Pulse

(not my set)

Yawn is a two-turn move, and opponent can woke up. Thunder Wave can slow down them, but won't be useful much. Wish/Toxic Salamance is the strangest thing I have ever heard. Unfortunately, Wish is one of the only moves to restore, except Roost and Rest. Toxic affects foe greatly, but I think it does a little of coverage when thre are many immunities. However, Salamance can stop them. Wish is more like Supporting, good but strange. To sum up, good job.

I would go with the second one because hondoom can sub and then nasty plot up so it could be dangerous. extreem speed makes sure hes taken down though be careful for hp ground from him. you can take down his substitute first turn but hopefully he won't kill you on the same turn. i'm sure he won't though.

That was my first instinct.
However the 1st set allows for more Spdef, and also after Agility he will out Speed Houndoom anyway and hopefully will be able to KO him quickenough. Albiet i feel HP Ground may be better suited on that set since apart from Dark Gound hits eveything the same too...

< Guess who's back?
Consider Ice Punch over Stone Edge on Machamp, it hurts flyers for se aswell + it's doing more to defensive ground counters like Gliscor and Hippo and it's more reliable. Moreover a bulky champ will like some pp for attacks than 5/5 especially with pressure counters like dusk/spiritomb around.

Heatran problems, especially hp electic once. Maybe Milotic > Slowbro to cover that, but then you loose to ape..

^ That was so wishy washy.
Salamence is his main Infernape counter. Slowbro comes in on the Physical ones.

Machamp is going to take a **** load from Nasty Plot'd Flamethrower. so if it isn't on 100%, it's not going to be able to do anything.
Salamence isn't a counter, as it is slower, and Draco Meteor will simply break the Substitute once, and wont do the second time (iirc).

Letting it get free NP's ^_^

Ah.

Hmmm...so the Arcy > Salamence wouldnt work too well...unless he had HP Ice>Fighting/Ground but then he wouldnt be able to SE Doomy....
