I liked slots cause I could actually play it. Voltorb Flip bites a big chunk of butt.

Having spent an inordinate amount of time on Voltorb Flip, I still can't make a decision. While some have said that slots are all luck, I could win the FR/LG slots with skill. I liked the slots best in FR/LG, but Voltorb Flip is in many ways better than the 4th Gen slots.

I like the slots to be honest, I could earn more coins faster htan the flip, granted, I just need o learn the flip but the slots are cake.

If theyre worried about gambling, wouldnt betting on pokemon(animals!) battles be...worse...? (you win/lose moneus per fight)

I LOVE voltorb flip, how can you not, you just need to make it around the voltorbs and such...I can't get past level 5 though...

Voltorb Flip all the way. I love this mini game! So much more addictive than the slot machines, and it relies on thinking over luck (some luck is involved of course)

I've played that Voltorb game for hours racking up coins for items and the Dratinni Pokemon. I find it very fun, and I'm kinda good at it to :p

Voltorb Flip all the way.

When I first heard about the change over I thought it was silly, changing a whole aspect of Pokémon that has been in every main series games because of a few busy-body parents complained their children got addicted to gambling because of a Pokémon game (WTF?).

But then once I got the game I thought it was great, now I can actually win decent amounts of coins without having to fork out for them. Buying 10,000 cions got to be a large amount. At first I thought the item prices were over-priced, but then once you get the knack of the game you can get really large amounts of coins before you know it. I've only been playing Voltorb Flip for a few days now and already have over 8,000 coins, it really doesn't take that long before you're swimming in coins. And I've never beaten past level 6!

What I also like about Voltorb Flip is that there is strategy involved, not just luck and timing according to others. While the Game Corner is no longer a Game Corner as such, now it is a fun mini-game that I can actually play and enjoy.

I sucked at Minesweeper so I suck at Voltorb Flip. I get something good, then BAM a fricking Voltorb. The slots were more fun and believe it or not, not as luck based for me. Also you can't just buy coins anymore. Sadface.

They should've kept Roulette :/
I agree with this only because it would add variety. Right now there's only the one game which is a bit lame. It's supposed to be a casino! I want more games to choose from.

Or I'm greedy :3

As to Voltorb Flip, the game isn't that hard. I just use simple adding, and a tad amount of luck, and I can rake in the coins.

Any row or column that adds up to five in voltorbs or numbers is dead. Zero those out right away. Anything with zero voltorbs you go for first. Then you go on from there and just get the numbers to equal each other.

You can zero out a good chunk of the board right away, usually, and then you're stuck with a pretty small square. If it's a one, don't even click it. Put a dot on it and ignore it.

I love voltorb flip and all and it's really fun and stuff but when it comes right down to it you want that tm or item and for me I could just buy the things without really denting my money supply. I would totally vote for voltorb flip for funness but for convenience I just need to buy coins so sorry.

I love Voltorb Flip as well. Luck only really comes into it around level 5 and 6. The first handful of levels is all strategy. The numbers tell you all you need to know to avoid the voltorbs. It gets complicated, sometimes, but that's what I love about it. I powered on SS last night to go to Goldenrod and finish some of the story, but wound up playing Voltorb Flip for hours. Great fun! I don't miss the slots at all.
