Slowbro is a beast

Ok so this is my first hoorah into ev training and team set up, im wondering if the team ive speculated of pulling together will work pretty well.

Edit: I just noticed i lacked what kind of team this is intended for, im going for somewere around OU, the lower sections perhaps and borderline. Trying to find something other than Salamence,garachomp,tyranitar,blissey,skarmory, gengar teams ( i hope that was accurate)

Since this is my first time, im going to stick with the potw from serebii, unless a good suggestion comes up

Slowbro - Bulky water
@Leftovers
Ability:Own tempo
Ev/nature:
212hp/252def/44/special attack
Bold

Moves:
Surf
psychic
calm mind
slack off

Thinking of useing him as a "bulky water" someone who takes hits and can dish them out.

Forretress - spikes/spin/lead
@Leftovers
Ability: sturdy
Ev/nature:
252hp/80attack/176def
Impish

Moves:
Gyro ball
Rapid spin
Spikes
Toxic spikes

Got rid of explosion since i like this idea of the whole spikes set up, sounds great. Thinking of using this as a lead. Drop some spikes and get the you know what out. This is the only pokemon im super shaky about, Im going to mostly play at my "highschool circuit" and they know much of EV training, but im not sure about the whole spikes, spinners, ou, sandstorm teams etc. So this one might not be as important(replaceable)

Blissey - special wall/wall
@Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Evs/nature:
252hp/252def/4specialdef
Bold

Moves:
Sesimc Toss
Softboiled
Aromatherapy
Thunderwave

From what ive seen, the basic blissey i chose her only because i needed a special soaking pokemon, i prefer to not use the super OU pokemon (garchomp tyranitar blissey, etc) but blissey just seemed to fit so nicely
Maybe a lickylicky in place? I havent thought of a set for him though, i just really like that pokemon.

Weavile - physical sweeper
@Choice Band
ability: pressure
Evs/nature:
4hp/252atk/252speed
Jolly

Moves:
Pursuit
Brick Break
Ice Punch
Night slash

This will be my phsyical attacker, seems pretty solid other options MUCH appreciated. This guy just seems so bland

Ryhperior - bulky physical
@Leftovers
ability: Solid Rock
Evs/nature:
252hp/80attack/ 176def
adamant

Moves:
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Megahorn
Substitute

When i saw what this dude was capable of in my diamond, "holy guacamole" is all i thought, so i would love to get this one in a team. Seemed to be a pretty nice pokemon to go with slowbro. Slowbro is more special inclined while rhy is more physical, whilst both being "bulky".

Gengar - special sweeper
@Lifeorb
ability:Levitate
Evs/nature:
4hp/252speed/252special attack
Timid

Moves:
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt
Explosion

Im running a un Ev'd version of this right now during my HG playthough (its only lvl52) and i REALLY enjoy this one. This hopes to be my special sweep, to coenside with weavile. Covering my bases but im not entirely sure.

So there it is, i hope its not a wall of text crit for 99999 damage. Any help whatsoever is extremely appreciated. I want to learn so much lol.
One more thing, if you guys are so nice and suggest changes, i'd LOVE to have them obtainable in hear gold. Thats a rule set by the people that head my "highschool circuit" but i can still get non heart gold, for wifi battles that dont envolve them.

Thanks oodles in advance

The following are the only resistances to the given Pokemon's moveset. If there are none to show or the Pokemon was not intended for offense, they will not be included. If there are too many to list quickly, I will give the most common characteristic among resistors. Only resistances shown, not neutral damage. This is not meant to be spiteful in any way, just information to keep in mind when using this team.
Thank you, and enjoy!

Slowbro:
Grass/Dark,Water/Dark,Lati Twins,Dialga,Celebi,Water/Psychic,Empoleon,Shedinja

Weavile:
No Resistances (Bravo Ragazzo!)

Rhyperior:
No Resistances (Bravo Ragazzo! x2)

Gengar:
No Resistances (Bravo Ragazzo! x3)

Sweet! So the only bugger is my slowbro's move set? Seeing how its the only one with resistances. So should i go with icebeam instead of psyhcic? Or would i be just fine trying to swap in another pokemon to deal with the ones who slowbro cant hit for nuteral damage?

Ok an additon, ive run it through shoddy battle a couple times, i did really well against most teams. but o-m-g did teams with scizor give me trouble and a lucario team DEYSTROYED me. I can SOMETIMES get scizor, but lucario is almost /facedesk for me to KO. I was thinking of getting rid of rhyperior completely same with foretress and getting a Donphan instead for spikes/spin and a skarmory to go Skarmbliss for defense. And finnaly using a magenzone instead of gengar for special sweep. Thoughts?
