slowpoke route 6?

Im playing LG. I read the pokedex, It said slowpoke can be found on route 6. Can it be found along the grass or only surfing and fishing for it?

I think it is surfing and fishing.

I could have swarn you could find one by walking through the grass...perhaps not. Im assuming that like everything but magicarp, you can not fish for it with the old rod?

nope. Old rod can ONLY get you Magikarps. 100%.

You get it by fishing and/or surfing you catch him with a Super Rod

People have been right so far. Fishing and Surfing is the way to go to get a Slowpoke.
