Bewear my power
Once again, I have unleashed an RP. I had originally done this one in the past, but it died out...so I'm reviving it!

Due to the new amounts of rules, however, there will be some extra rules this time (hey, I didn't make the rules, believe me).

1. Follow all forum rules. Self-explanitory.
2. No bunnying without permission.
3. No internet slang (like "LOLZ" or "I n v u"), also known as "text language".
4. Posts must be 3-4 paragraphs long. If all you can do is dialogue, add a flashback or something to take up space.
5. The RP is rating PG-13, so don't go overboard with things like swearing (block it with *'s if you want to play it safe).
6. To avoid odd cliches (it's impossible for me to get that mark above the e. I did the plot in MS Word), you can't have uniforms that are all black. If the Cooper Gang can do it, so can you.
7. This is a Role-Playing GAME, so have fun.

Here's the plot/Cooper history:

*****

For thousands of years, ever since ancient Egyptian times, the family line of Cooper has used their signature “C” cane to commit crimes against evil. The line began with Slytankhamen the second, an Egyptian who pilfered from the evil in Egypt and founded the legendary birthright of the Cooper Clan: the Cooper Vault. The Vault was an incredibly large and deep-in vault that only a Cooper, with the signature cane, could open. The reward was an amount of riches too vast to describe.

Another being, however, has also been around for thousands of years…one more darker, sinister, evil. This being is Clockwerk, a massive owl who kept himself alive through hatred of the Cooper family line. Building himself a robotic body to preserve his immortality, Clockwerk began to hunt down and kill Cooper Clan members until one was left…one who had started a family.

Connor Cooper, father of Sly Cooper, was slaughtered by Clockwerk’s newly-founded gang: the Fiendish Five. Clockwerk then came upon the Cooper Clan’s family heirloom: the Thievius Raccoonus. It was said that whoever read the book would learn how to be a master thief. Unfortunately, young Sly only read several small portions of the book before the Fiendish Five slaughtered his parents and tore the book into pages, dividing it up amongst his fellow Fiendish Five members.

After ten years, Sly and his new friends, Bentley and Murray, tracked down the Fiendish Five members and defeated them all: Muggshot, Mz. Ruby, Panda King, Sir Raleigh and finally, Clockwerk himself. During the battle, Clockwerk revealed to Sly that he had purposely left the young Cooper alive in attempt to prove that without the Thievius Raccoonus, the Cooper Clan was nothing. Before defeating him, Sly replied that it took great thieves to make the Thievius Raccoonus, not the other way around. Clockwerk was then broken into many pieces…

…which were stolen, two years later, by the insidious Klaww Gang, headed by a parrot named Arpeggio. Like the Thievius Raccoonus before him, Clockwerk’s parts were divided up amongst the Klaww Gang members. Dimitri, lounge lizard and former artist, took Clockwerk’s tail feathers. Rajan, self-proclaimed “lord of the hills of India”, took Clockwerk’s wings and heart, dividing the latter into two halves. The Contessa, double-agent prison warden working for both the Klaww Gang and the international police unit known as Interpol, received Clockwerk’s hypnotic eyes. Jean Bison, prospector frozen in an avalanche during the Gold Rush, received Clockwerk’s robotic lungs, stomach, and talons. Finally, Arpeggio took what was left: Clockwerk’s brain.

As Sly, Bentley and Murray defeated the Klaww Gang members one-by-one, stealing their Clockwerk Parts in the process, an Interpol Constable named Neyla aided them. During their raids against Rajan, however, Neyla double-crossed both the Cooper Gang and Interpol in one fell swoop, allowing the Contessa to take both them and Inspector Carmelita Fox—whom Neyla framed—to the Contessa’s prison, from which the Cooper Gang later escaped.

After coming to Arpeggio’s blimp, it was revealed that Neyla had been Arpeggio’s protégé the entire time, as well as that Arpeggio planned to fuse himself to the completed Clockwerk Frame and become immortal. A problem for the flightless parrot emerged, however, when Neyla knocked his carrier down and fused with Clockwerk herself, transforming herself into an abomination calling itself “Clock-La”. The newly-born Clock La then killed Arpeggio, crushing him in her beak, and then directed her sword of hate towards the Cooper Gang.

With help from Carmelita, Sly and the Gang destroyed Clock-La, the original Neyla along with it. The destruction of Clock-La came at a terrible price, however: Clock-La’s beak fell upon Bentley’s legs, crushing them and leaving him paralyzed from the waist down from that day onward. Blaming himself, Murray left the Gang and traveled to Australia, participating in the aborigine art of Dreamtime, guided by a mystical being known as “the Guru”.

Murray did so well in merely a year that the Guru sent him on an aboriginal walk to complete the training. Murray, finding himself in Venice, Italy, at first refused to help the gang defeat tar-pumping mob boss Octavio, preferring to refrain from violence at the request of the Guru. When Octavio injured Bentley, however, Murray’s temper finally broke free, and the Murray the Gang knew had returned, fighting and defeating Octavio.

Although Murray had indeed returned, he did not feel entirely comfortable with breaking off his training without permission from the Guru. Agreeing to help him, Sly and Bentley took him to Australia in search of the Guru, only to find that opal-seeking miners had taken over the area and imprisoned the Guru. The Gang struck a deal with the Guru: in return for clearing the miners out of the Australian Outback, the Guru would help the Gang with their future job: freeing the Cooper Vault from the horrible grasp of corrupted member of Sly’s father’s gang, Dr. M.

After destroying a demonic entity known as the Mask of Dark Earth, as well as clearing out all the miners, the Guru joined the Cooper Gang. Later, Bentley began seeking out a radio control vehicle artist to assist with the Cooper Vault job. He found one in the form of Holland woman Penelope, mechanic to one of the greatest pilots Holland has ever known: the Black Baron. Penelope issued a challenge to the Gang: if they could defeat the Black Baron in his dogfight competition, ACES, she would join the Gang.

After Sly proved his piloting skills surpassed that of the Black Baron, the two got into a fight, where Sly triumphed and it was revealed that there was no true Black Baron: only Penelope in disguise, avoiding the strict age requirements that dogfight competitions had. She agreed to join the Gang, and fell in love with Sly, much to the chagrin of Bentley, who himself had feelings for Penelope.

Later, Bentley broke the news to Sly that they had to recruit former Fiendish Five member: the Panda King. Understandably upset, Sly protested, but Bentley was firm. Traveling to China, the Panda King agreed to join the Gang if they would perform a favor for him: free his daughter, Jing King, from the grasp of Chinese warlord General Tsao.

After Sly defeated Tsao, Panda King joined the Cooper Gang. Later, Dimitri—who, by this time, had left the Klaww Gang—was proposed a place in the Gang as an undersea diver. He agreed, but like Panda King, Penelope and Guru, he had a condition: the Gang was to retrieve Dimitri’s grandfather’s diving gear from pirate Black Spot Pete.

In a “conversation” with Pete, Sly learned that he had lost Reme Lousteau’s diving gear to the self-proclaimed “smartest man on the seven seas”: Captain LeFwee. LeFwee indeed proved to be living up to his reputation, nearly killing several members of the Cooper Gang as they fought him. In the end, Penelope defeated LeFwee in a showdown atop the mast of his own ship, the Death’s Hen. LeFwee fell into the water and was eaten by sharks, never to be heard from again.

At Kaine Island, home of the Cooper Vault, the Cooper Gang encountered Dr. M and his army of genetic nightmares, beings spliced with other beings to create horrible hybrid abominations. The Gang did indeed defeat Dr. M, though it took some time and effort. Inside the very Cooper Vault, Dr. M and Sly had a confrontation. At the end, Sly took a fireball blow to protect Carmelita, faking amnesia afterwards in attempt to become emotionally closer to her.

After Sly left his equipment behind, the Cooper Gang separated once again, this time all members except Bentley and Penelope going their separate ways. Murray completed his training with the Guru and began racing with the personalized team van, though he is still able to come back into the Gang whenever Sly Cooper—not the Constable Cooper Carmelita led him to believe he was—resurfaces. Panda King returned to China to live two doors down from his daughter, screening all suitors willing to marry her (as of yet, Jing King remains unmarried).

Dimitri went on to become a professional skim diver, allowing his two favorite things—money and women—to gallop to him in droves. The Guru eventually took a rock band on in Dreamtime training, which brought quite a bit of unwanted media attention that caused him to hide out in Central Park, New York (he figured it was the last place the media would ever look). Bentley and Penelope began construction of a new Cooper Vault, one with more powerful security than the last.

This break would not last long, however. Shortly after the Cooper Vault Job, Sly’s equipment was found gone. In its place was a note saying:

I’ll bring the stuff back when your friend ‘Constable’ Cooper comes back.

--the Thiever.

P.S: you’ll hear of me again.

It turned out that this new thief’s words were true. With Sly’s equipment in his possession, "The Thiever" committed various types of crimes against evil across the world. At the same time this happened, however, Dr. M—who had survived the original Cooper Vault closing in on him—organized an incredibly large gang of thieves calling itself the “Master Minds”. The Master Minds consisted of nearly all their old foes, along with other dark criminals they had never faced before.

Aspiring to meet “The Thiever”, Bentley began tracking his or her records. Reports showed that the Thiever was male, somewhat young, and never left an area until all loot to be stolen from an evil thief was taken. More than once he had encountered Inspector Fox and “Constable” Sly Cooper…more than once Thiever had evaded capture by the two, utilizing the Cooper Cane to his advantage.

Bentley and Penelope called back Murray, and the three began planning on how to find the Thiever. With the looming threat of the Master Minds…

…the Cooper Gang would need all the help it would get, from old friends to new ones.

Don't leave me!
I'm presuming the animals are at least partially humanoid. Also, Clockwerk is a monster!

Name: Serenity Kat Featherthrow (Aka: Pib and Cat burglar)

Age: 15

Species: Cat

Gender: Female

Alliance: Cooper Gang

Appearance: Serenity is a black cat-something symbolised with either bad luck or good luck. Most of the time it’s bad for her enemies and good for her. She has straight, waist-length black hair that she has tied up in a ponytail with a red ribbon, and pointy black cat ears pointing at the top sides of her head. Her eyes are a dazzling green that have a silver touch to them, a black tail with white gashes on it and she paints her claws purple. She is also very small and has remarkably pointy teeth and claws. For clothes, she normally keeps it simple: usually a purple vest shirt with a low cut ‘V’ neck and tight dark blue jeans with a lot of scratches in them-most of them done by herself. She wears no shoes unless the terrain is gravely and pointy, or if they are having wet or really warm weather. In that case, she usually dons a pair of black ankle boots, which makes the other people in the group call her Pib (Puss In Boots). She wears a lot of jewellery, including a pair of hanging sapphire earrings, a pearl necklace and several purple-beaded bracelets-all of which she stole.

Personality: Serenity is a happy and cheerful girl with a very short attention span in floaty atmosphere. She looses her concentration and attention mostly to round objects and occasionally curtains, which she has to fight the urge to tear to pieces. She is very carefree and klutzish-falling down a lot, but is a valid member of the team. In an atmosphere that is serious, she is serious as well, giving useful tips and advise, as well as chipping in and helping whenever she can because she likes to see other people happy. If someone is sad, she’s usually the first person who tries to cheer them up-even if they don’t like her. She can make friends very easily, and is very flexible-mostly physically and can squeeze through small spaces: after all, she IS a cat.

History: Serenity has a sad background, even though it doesn’t show up in her personality. Her father walked out on her when she was seven and her mother passed away when she was ten, leaving her to scrounge for food on her own. She still had the house she and her mother lived in-fully paid off with the money in her mother’s will, but she had to get a job. She worked all day long fixing things for as much money as she could and so most days she went without food. It was hard, but she managed. Then, one day when she was thirteen, after nearly a week of no food, she crept up to a local market and slipped a loaf of bread into her pocket before walking away, undetected. She gorged at it the moment she set foot in her house while wondering why she wasn’t caught. She tried it out again, and again before she got to the conclusion-she was good at this. She stil bought food with the little money she had, but stole when she needed it. One time, after she had swiped a carton of milk, she was walking away and was almost at her house when she felt a hand on her shoulder.

‘Eeep.’ Was the only thing she could say. He chuckled before walking before her and introducing himself as Bentley. She tried to explain her taking the milk, but he just smile and denied that he was going to get her in trouble. He spoke to her for a while in the street about her abilities, and Serenity told him of her others, before she asked him into her house and told him of her sad story. A couple of hours later, he left the house with his goodbyes, giving her a card with a long number on it and a promise to tell her if they needed any help.

With the news of the Thiever and the Master Minds, as well as a phone call from Bentley, Serenity was raring to go and paced all of her things (which wasn’t a lot…) and left her house with a quick goodbye to her mother’s grave, to meet up with Bentley and his friends for an exiting adventure.

Speciality: Thieving most of all but also fixing things and sword-weidling.
Other: As well as using her teeth and claws, Serenity has a long silver sword that she uses as a weapon.

Clockwerk is a monster!

Name: Eclipse Illuzi Peritan
Age: 22
Species: Panda
Gender: Female
Alliance: Cooper Gang

Appearance: Eclipse is a brown and white panda. Her hair is brown and straight and only goes up to her sholders. She has a pink shirt, blue gym pants and red shoes. She also has crutches, which she has most of her theving items in there. Eclipse's eyes are blue and seem as sharp as a pin. Eclipse rarely wears makeup. She is tomboyish and likes to play video games and sometimes say something gross.

Personality: Eclipse is peppy, nice and lazy. She likes to sing and hum. Eclipse often daydreams when she has nothing to do. If someone is sad, she can usually fix it, but she lets others have a chance too. Eclipse has a real weakness to anything that sticks to the wall, so she uses her crutches to climb and jump. She also has a weakness to bamoo and beds. While her weaknesses usually come through, she can manage to sneak through a hotel room.

History: Eclipse was abandoned at birth. She lived on fruit and nuts until one day, she saw the fireworks on New Year's. She wandered into the Kunlun Moutains in China, where someone adopted her. Eclipse then met with the Panda King, and they became friends. Eclipse and the Panda King often played with each other, but one day, Eclipse's house had been hit by a firework and had set on fire. Eclipse ran away, not knowing that the Panda King had destroyed her house.

Eventually, Eclipse found a broken-down mansion. Surprisingly, everything was working. Eclipse went out to find some food. She found a closed shopping mall, but the doors were still open. Eclipse stole everything, without alerting the police. She then foung a skill for pickpocketing, but then found out that the computer in her house only could go to one site. Eclipse found out that the website, TheifNet, was actually quite amusing. She met Bentley on the chatroom, and then they started to talk about a lot of things.

One week later, Bentley called Eclipse and told her about the Theiver and the Master Minds. Eclipse was ready, and she knew that the adventure would be like no other.

Speciality: Pulling off loose walls, hacking, explosives.
Other: Eclipse can grab guards with metal items and throw them somewhere else.

Gaze upon the slayer
Clockwerk is a sexy beast. Okay, he's a monster...

Name: Horace Sol McDonald (AKA Horsol or Hormac)

Gender: Male

Race: Gorilla

Age: 32

Alliance: Master Minds. (Oh yeah, I'm the first antagonist, baby!)

Appearance: Horace dons a black vest with two purple M's on it, also wearing blue jeans and black sunglasses, as well as a black bandana with red and yellow flames on it. He is roughly 7 ft. and 783 lbs. and has a soft, darkly purple fur tone. His muzzle, hands, and feet are a lighter tone of purple. Horace prefers not to wear shoes, as they hinder his abilities. In summary, one would see him as a purple gorilla biker dude. His big eyes are a natural light green and his head is shaved, to reduce wind resistance. His teeth are the size of snail shells and his huge, lightly purple fists are equal to that of a grapefruit.

Personality: Horace tends to work alone, as his style of escape differs from many others. However, he makes a great powerhouse for the Masterminds, and is a ferocious fighter. Horace also tends to crack jokes at his team in the midst of a rough battle. However, he tends to be more stoic around hostile or unfamiliar environments. When he is deciphering languages, however, he prefers to be left alone normally.

History: Horace, in contrast for his large size, was a scholar for the earlier years of his life. He had spent much of his time perfecting new languages, even coming up with one of his own. He had an average life with average family. He disliked the thief Sly Cooper, who had been stealing from various villains. According to various books and documents, Horace thought stealing was one of the highest forms of disrespect and thought that every thief, for good or otherwise, should have their thumbs cut open. One day, a note came to him, requesting his assistance in deciphering a foreign language. That language turned out to be his own, coming out to say, "Horace, we need you to stop Thiever. Meet us at 12:00 in the Sparkle Bar." Horace said it was just a grocery list and came at the requested time, meeting M, Sir Raliegh, and the Contessa, first members of the crew, along with Horace. He had begun his training at 29 and has become invaluable to the MM ever since.

Specialty: Due to his size and strength, Horace is an ideal wrecker, rivaling even Murray in power, and doubling him in size. However, due to his years as a scholar, Horace is also able to decipher many languages, but most languages, aside from one or two, will take him many hours, even a full day, before deciphering it. He is usually called upon this to translate notes or other such documents from Interpol, the Cooper Gang, or otherwise.

Aaaand there's 3 sign-ups. *puts on unnessecary glasses*

flygonrulz: Yes, the animals are partially humanoid...Sly himself looks like this, and he's meant to be a raccoon...Anyway, I looked through the sign-up and you're accepted.

Pikada: Let's see...I don't know you all that well (heck, this is the first time I've seen you on these forums), but your sign-up looks fairly good. One question, though: does Eclipse need the crutches to walk or does she carry them on her back? Just clear that up and I'll get to whether or not she's in.

angrycaterpie: Heh, I did say you could use something along the lines of "Clockwerk is a monster", didn't I? Anyway...I dunno yet. The guy seems a little...overpowered. I can live with the strength bit, but could you cut down the intellect a little? You don't have to reduce his language knowledge, just make it so that it takes him a few hours or so to decipher something. Also, you could expand on the appearance a little more. So, 'till that's fixed, you're pending.

Okay...here's my sign-up. Enter the Thiever!

Name: Thane Xavier AKA "the Thiever"
Age: 18
Species: Fox.
Gender: Male
Alliance: Cooper Gang
Appearance: Thiever is between the heights of Bentley and Sly, at around five feet tall. His build is fairly small, making seem as if he is 13 rather than 18. Because of his build, he wears Sly's red pouch on his back rather than his leg. Covering his torso is a dark blue Interpol jumpsuit, covered by a black leather jacket, which the pouch is mounted on the back of. A torn mark is where the badge would have been on the jumpsuit, and he wears light brown cloth on his feet. Sometimes he wears Japanese sandals, though he doesn't wear them when he is sneaking somewhere. His face is fairly fox-like, with jade eyes. His dark red hair is rather untidy, going down to the bottom of his neck. Usually Sly's cane can be found slung across his shoulder.
Personality: For as long as he has been alive, Thiever has loved traveling and seeing new places. He loves to be a thief, and loves witty banter as well. This does not, however, mean that he loves everything in the world; truth be told, the things listed are the only things he loves. He has idolized the Cooper Gang, however, and hates those who use their abilities for evil with a passion. The only thing Thiever hates more than evil thieves is none other than Inspector Carmelita Montoya Fox. For reasons concerning his past, which he seldom talks about, Thiever holds an immense amount of resentment for Carmelita, and only he fully knows why. Often he will joke to lighten the stress of a situation, and often gets along well with other Cooper Gang members.
History: Thiever, as Thane, was born to a somewhat average family who lived in an average home. Given his ambition for adventure, Thane usually detested staying home while his parents were away. When he was eight, at the time Sly was thirteen, his parents were murdered by a Muggshot, a member of the Fiendish Five. The reason, unknown to Thane, was that the two had attempted reserving a hotel in Mesa City but refused to gamble. Enraged, the bulky bulldog murdered Mr and Mrs. Xavier, leaving young Thane an orphan.

Distraught with grief, Thane fled from child services and took to the streets, learning to pickpocket from people. Even a child in the streets could hear of the exploits of the Cooper Gang, and became inspired to campaign against villains using their own rules. Unfortunately, twelve-year-old Thane's first "heist" didn't go so well, and he was caught by none other than Inspector Carmelita Fox as he attempted theft from a relatively unknown mobster. Having pity on the boy, Carmelita took him in as a sort of apprentice.

At first, the "apprenticeship" went fairly well: Thane's lessons in combat and artillery progressed well, and by the time he was fourteen he had mastered the Mega Jump, allowing him to reach high places with a single bound. As he grew older, however, Carmelita's continual frustration with Sly barely escaping her grasp caused her to be harder and harder on Thane. When he was sixteen, Thane cut short his apprenticeship under Carmelita while she and Constable Neyla were tracking Sly in Egypt. Taking the name "the Thiever", Thane began his reign of thieving two full years before his abduction of Sly's cane. With knowledge of the Master Minds and Bentley's insistance on contacting the Cooper Gang, Thiever headed out for Paris, France--the home of the Cooper Gang--to meet up with the paraplegic turtle.
Speciality: Thieving and artillery operation.
Other: N/A

Also, I would like to make a list of the current Master Minds, placed in spoiler tags.

In no particular order:
Dr. M
The Contessa
Rajan
Mz. Ruby
Muggshot
Octavio
Sir Raleigh.

General Tsao has too big an ego to be a Master Mind, the Mask of Dark Earth and LeFwee are dead (though Mz. Ruby will have a part involving him later on...those who have heard of her will know exactly what I'm talking about), Jean Bison is frozen solid, Clockwerk, Arpeggio and Neyla are dead, and Panda King and Dimitri are Cooper Gang members.

Okay...we get a few more people, we'll start.

Clockwerk is a monster. Also if you going to write this as a fic then can I possibly help you? I'm a member at fanfiction.net and I've written a few fics myself.

Name: Argon Weazelle
Age: 18
Species: Chameleon/Lizard
Gender: Male
Alliance: Cooper Gang
Appearance: Unlike most reptiles, Argon does not have the familiar green scales that most of his relatives have, rather he has blood red scales. His eyes are blue with a shade of black. He is a bit tall, his height being 5'4. Typically, during his acts of thievery Argon wears a dark red shirt with black pants. Though his thief attire seems strange, his clothes have special properties that match his special ability. The only drawback is that the clothes are rather tight but not tight enough to actually leave any unwanted marks on his body. During the day though is a completely different story. In broad daylight Argon wears clothes that would be attributed to a hobo. This set of clothes consist of a brown jacket and dark brown shirt. His pants are also of the same color as the rest of his hobo attire. In accordance with his daytime life, Argon's hobo clothes are ripped and have holes in several places. In addition to the hobo clothes Argon changes the color of his scales to green (Explained in History) when he is in daylight in order to avoid the police or as Argon calls them "the Blue Losers".

Personality: Argon is easily one of the calmest people you can ever meet. No matter what the situation is, Argon rarely, if ever panics and he keeps his cool. He can be sarcastic at times but that's mostly when he feels like joking around. Many times Argon will stare at something that was around in his childhood and he would sigh, knowing that he missed out on his childhood and the wonders that occur during that stage of life. At many times Argon is quiet and depressed mainly though due to his missed childhood. When he isn't moping about his past, Argon can be seen practicing his camouflage techniques. One of the few things that Argon hates is actually acting and being a hobo. Admittedly Argon does know that the cover helps out as police wouldn't suspect a begging hobo of being a wanted thief. He generally doesn't really care about the opposite gender as naturally he is busy with being a hobo in the day and thief by night.

History: As a child Argon was born to a semi-rich family. That is to say, he was born in a family that wasn't poor but weren't that rich. He was only 5 years old when a daring thief robbed their house yet as Argon's parents fought to defend their household, an accident with the electricity shocked his parents to death. As young Argon saw the horrifying images of his parents being electrocuted, he cried and cried as any kid would. The thief had taken pity as he didn't wish to hurt anyone so he took the crying Argon with him. Argon started to learn under the lessons of the thief and became the thief's unofficial adopted son. Time passed and Argon was quick to learn the basics and one of the many things he learned about were stories of the Cooper Clan's many successful acts of thievery. Like his thief teacher, Argon began to admire the Cooper Clan's achievements and he even aspired to be like them. Unfortunately the lessons came to a halt when his teacher and adopted father was captured by Interpol and sentenced to death. Of course Argon managed to escape and he was forced to go to an orphanage for a few years. Poor young Argon had only became 10 years old that very day. During his 8 year long stay, many people came and many kids got adopted but nobody wanted a kid who had grown up with a thief for a few years. Once Argon became 18, he was allowed to leave the orphanage and he started his crime spree after that day, making sure that he would fulfill his goal of becoming as famous as the Cooper Clan.

Speciality: Camouflage, Spying and of course being a thief

Other: For a weapon Argon sometimes uses a long pole, though he mostly uses two rounded daggers that aren't meant for throwing but they are instead used as swords meaning they are Argon's weapon of choice.

Clockwerk is an evil robotic monster

Name: Joselyne MacMeel

Age: 21

Species: white wolf

Gender: female

Alliance: neutral, shes kind of a rogue. She'll side with the cooper gang before she'll join the master minds, however.

Appearance: She's pretty tall, about 5' 10", and fairly thin. She has a long mane of white hair that she often ties back in a braid. Her eyes are a burnt orange color and she wears black-framed glasses. She also wears a tight-fitting black body suit to avoid snagging her clothes on something while on a job. Joselyne doesn't carry many things with her, just a few tools of the trade. A lock-pick kit, a mirrored compact, and a pair of stylish sunglasses fitted with spy gear are the only objects in her hip pouch.

Personality: She's somewhat flirtatious, likes playing hard to get. Doesn't usually seek out people but will engage in conversation if someone comes to her. She doesn't have one single place of residence, moves around a lot, and has lost contact with her family and her thieving brother. She enjoys riddles and mind games, they often confuse others and produce the funniest expressions. Can be quite sharp and sarcastic if provoked into argument, or if shes in a bad mood. Hates the color brown, nobody knows why, she just does.

She got caught a few times when she was starting out; managing to escape with help from her brother, also a lock-picker. Joselyne and her brother stole enough to bring their family up to a decent standard of living. She eventually left home to seek new places and new adventures. On her journeys away from home, she heard a passing mention of a famous thief called Sly Cooper. The name piqued her interest, she has been researching and tracking his gang ever since.

Speciality: She excels at recon work. She is also skilled at lock and pocket picking.
Other: She's not a good climber, prefers to stay as close to solid ground as possible. Her brother was always darker than she was, he might join the master minds if given the chance...

i dont know if thats enough, im not very good at typing long posts, i usually try to paraphrase things. also, do i need to make a post for Joselyne's brother? i wasn't going to use him as a character but someone else could if they want.

ive got a question too. 1.) What happened to Octavio? is he still in prison or is he part of Master Minds? 2.) Did "The Thiever" disable the tracking device in Sly's Binocucom?

I have a couple of questions:

  1. Can you do a character that is a pokemon (I have several ideas for my character's species, and two are pokemon)?
  2. May I please have a reservation?

Thank you for your time.

Universe Chaser

Trust me, I'm a cop.
May I please reserve a spot. I wouldn't be saying this if I wasn't afraid you waould start without me. I'll post the SU soon.

Yikes...this'll teach me to get lazy.

Razgriz: That'd be nice. Also...you're accepted.

Absol_: Well...the only thing I have a problem with is the personality. It's a bit short. Extend it and you'll be in, so until then pending. To answer your questions: Yes, Octavio is part of the Master Minds, and no, Thiever isn't even aware that there's a tracking device in Sly's Binocucom. As for Josylene's brother...well, maybe he can be an NPC. Put up a bio and we'll see. Always could use more Master Minds!

Manaphy Mare: No, Pokemon aren't allowed in this RP, no matter how tempted we are to have them as chars. And, sure, spot reserved.

Universe Chaser: As with Manaphy Mare, you have a spot reserved, too. Just 'cause I'm a nice guy (at the moment...*evil laughter*).

All right...we'll start at some point. Not sure when yet, but at some point...meaning "when I get off my lazy butt long enough".

The Admiral

the star of the masquerade
Clockwerk is a monster.

Name: Maynard Catullus Garrison III, nickname "Octave"
Age: 26
Species: Mole
Gender: Male
Alliance: Cooper Gang

Appearance: Maynard Catullus Garrison takes the form of a large, brown, humanoid mole. That said, his fur, which covers his entire body, is a dirt brown color and is very short, typical of his species. However, it is definitely long enough to cover his ears, yet his eyes remain uncovered. As with many others of his species, he relies less on his vision than on his other senses. His arms, unsurprisingly, are very strong, as they'd have to be to tunnel through as much dirt as he does. Also worthy of note is that Maynard can travel very fast, very fast indeed - sometimes faster than those with human-level visual capabilities can detect. However, he can't keep this up for long. He is often seen with a pair of glasses on his nose and speaks with a British accent. His typical uniform is composed of, more or less, a white suit, though lacking either a shirt or a tie, except in situations which call for them. In those cases, the shirt is white, and the tie is typically red.

Personality: The easiest way to describe Maynard would probably be to say that Maynard is almost completely about business. Maynard is exceptionally driven, operates primarily by orders and well-drawn plans, and tends to get frustrated if there aren't plans about what he's going to do. He's not too rude, nor extremely kind. He is open to speak about anything that he is asked about, and gives back reports at appropriate times, but tends to stay fairly tight-lipped otherwise, not seeing much reason to talk too much, particularly while busy with his current mission. He travels as himself, but has eight different disguises as a thief, which all take the name "Octave." However, recently he has given up those, though he hasn't been thieving much without those disguises. He is not one to make deep emotional links nor fall very deeply in love with others, knowing he might have to break those relationships at any time, and not wanting to disappoint someone too much.

History: Maynard Catullus Garrison came from a British family wherein a father who was a thief, Maynard Catullus Garrison II; young Maynard's mother, Anna Ramir, was once a schoolteacher of young chidren, but eventually, she gave up her job after being abused emotionally by the school's principal, who was noted for being exceptionally strict anyhow. Anna, as a result, turned to a life of crime. Maynard II and Anna met when Anna took up thieving. Maynard II and Anna pulled a few heists together, and they quickly fell in love. Maynard III was born after Maynard II and Anna had known each other for about two years. Until Maynard III reached the age of twelve, when disease struck the Garrison family, Anna educated the young mole, and his father taught him all the thieving skills he'd ever need. However, when Maynard III reached age twelve, disease took Anna's life, and Maynard II was arrested during a heist. Maynard II died in prison of the same disease which had took Anna, due to Maynard II's weakened immune system - a result of the overbearing pressure of his confinement.

Maynard, left without a family, just did what came naturally - he ran. He ran from that British town. He ran from Britain entirely. He took the first ship out to Rome, where he immersed himself in the culture, using this place also as a location to build up his thieving skills and to develop the eight disguises and personalities known as "Octave." Attempts to bring any of them in were foiled constantly. Maynard learned a few things fairly quickly; never run on a schedule when it comes to when you do your heists, and never strike the same place twice. The purpose of working in a group became very obvious to him soon enough, and he sought a team at age eighteen, but, not willing to take too many risks, kept on the down-low so much that he wasn't noticed. Later, though - when he was age 20 - Maynard moved back to England, moving to London, specifically. Maynard worked alone the whole time, at one point (approximately at age 23) he attempted once more to seek out a gang to join, but failed to find one. Thus, he continued his career as a loner.

...At least, until this point...

Speciality: Maynard has a handful of stealth and thieving skills, including but not limited to burrowing skill, the ability to quietly move swiftly, as well as being able to sneak around walls. However, his special abilities (discounting burrowing) are slightly limited compared to Sly's, to make up for his raw speed and ability to dig.
Other: Maynard will not start out as a part of the Cooper Clan, but join during the first mission. Would you mind that?

Now, let's just hope it doesn't give me space funk...

I would like to reserve a spot sil vous plait. Oh, by the way, I dunno if I need to say thsi to reserve, but Clockwerk is a monster.

Tempus Fugit: Heeeey...I remember you! Sign-up looks pretty good to me, but...I'm not all that clear on the whole "travel fast" thing. Does he do it only underground or something? Also...sure, Maynard can join later. Just about everyone has that option. So...until the whole "travel very fast indeed" thing is cleared, you're pending.

Charmed Band-o: I remember you, too! (what was your char's name in the last RP...Mel, was it? I think it was Mel) Don't worry, you only need to have "Clockwerk is a monster" in your post if you want to be in the fic of this I'll put on FanFiction.net. And, sure, spot reserved.

Okay, to anyone who wants to join; it's getting a little crowded in here, IMO...so, after Band-o, Universe Chaser, and Manaphy Mare sign-up, the sign-ups will be closed (or not, depending on how your sign-ups are). Just for the record.

Aw, figured I'd missed something. The "travel fast" thing is restricted to underground movement.

Sorry 'bout that.

ok, i fixed her personality (i hope).
heres the brother anyway...

Name: Jason MacMeel

Age: 19

Species: Black wolf

Gender: male

Alliance: Master Minds. Joselyne doesnt know this since she lost contact with him long ago >.>

Appearance: hes about 6 ft tall and muscular even though hes younger than Joselyne. he doesnt care for his fur properly so its very oily and he sheds really bad. He has amber-colored eyes like his sister's. His teeth and claws are well cared for and sharp as razor blades. He looks scraggly over-all and has a crazed look to his eyes. hes almost a werewolf, if that makes any sense. He wears torn up blue jeans and a tattered yellow tee. Carries a worn leather pouch on his waist containing his lock pick kit, a length of rope, and a piece of wire. A matching leather dagger sheath is strapped to his belt, he keeps the blade in immaculate condition.

Personality: Spitefull, holds a grudge quite easily and for a very long time. Self-destructive type, hes like the psychotic serial killers that go on random killing sprees. Has perfected the "Death Glare" and uses it to intimidate and sometimes control those with weak minds. He used to be caring and mellow, when Joselyne knew him he was, but years of feeling hate towards others has twisted his emotions in too many directions at once. He has been driven to and over the brink of insanity. He has a touch of OCD to go with his insanity as well.

History: its the same as joselyne except he never got caught and sprung his sister out of jail up until the point where she leaves home. he stays with his parents for a few years afterward, growing bitter at his sister for leaving. he eventualy leaves too, seeking out the greatest villains of all time. he grows frustrated, however because whenever he would find someone, they got busted by a cop named Carmelita Fox. He could see through this facade and knew that the Cooper Gang was behind most of it. He began to hate the cooper gang, secretly plotting to destroy them one day. He became even more frustrated when they disbanded but joined the Master Minds in a heartbeat.

Speciality: good climber, cant see very far though (he refuses to admit he needs glasses), good with a lock pick, quite strong

Other: hes near-sighted but doesnt want to admit it. often runs into things

Tweaked old Mel a bit *dusts her off* and oh yes, Clokwerk is a monster

Name: Melody "Mel" Martinez
Age: 16
Species: Tabby Cat
Gender: Female
Alliance: Neutral (will however, most likely join the Cooper Gang *has plans*)
Appearance: Mel is a short, tiny cat, making her able to slip through place with easy grace. Some would dare to call her underweight, however she is healthy for her size. Her large ears are lined with peircings, each received for a successful theiving attempt (at the beginning of her career because obviously she wouldn't have any room left on her ears). There are seven on her left and eight on her right, including the equivilant of a cartiladge peircing. On her face rest a pair of almost too large emerald green eyes, extremely deep and beautiful. Some even call them mesmerizing. Just below them are her thin, delicate whiskers, tied back during her theivings. Framing her face are her stripes, a darker orange than her silky lighter orange fur. The most prominant of these are the three between her ears, centered on her forehead. Her short, bob-cut red hair frames her face as well, usually tucked back with a pair of bows. Around her neck lies a black choker with a single, silver eighth note dangling innocently from it. It tends to jingle when she walks. She tends to wear a shirt with some sort of musically themed pun (Her favorite is "Musical Terms for Blondes" and they are usually very darkly colored and short sleeved, exposing her thin, furry arms, each banded with faded stripes. Her left paw is almost white, due to an accident involving bleach as a young child. The color is slowly coming back. A pair of ripped capris that reach down to her knees also accompany the shirts, filled with several rips and paint splotches surprisingly. Below the inch of fur that is exposed is a pair of large, black boots. They are scuffed and muddy towards the bottom, however, Mel puts this up to "tough love". However, these are her clothes for her "day job". Mel dones a completely different persona for her "night job". She wears a thin black cami, covering up to about her midriff along with a pair of skin-tight black jeans, with a hole for her long, white-tipped tail of course. Each of her paws is kept in a pair of black leather gloves with the tips cut off, for her claws of course. A black hat tips the cake, and she goes barefoot, to minimize sound.

Personality: Mel is one of those girls you'd call, "rough around the edges". She is extremely stubborn and hard-headed, which earned her the nickname "Ram" back home. She never lets up on her final decisions, once she makes them, even though it may take her a while to make those decisions. To avoid this, she will more often than not, wing it. She doesn't plan much, but somehow, her gutt instinct is often right and she makes it out okay. Usually. She listens to her gutt a lot, prefering to go with it than more reasonable logic on most things. Some call it her "femenine intuition". She calls it her "little buddy in the tummy".

She's also very outgoing and quick to judge, always going with her gutt on meeting people. Mel is also very open and honest, never choosing to lie about much besides her past and to cover her own tail. Her father burnt her deep within her soul with his lies before he left her and she will never forget. The only other thing she inheritted from dear old daddy was her artistic soul. She hides this from most people, pretending that she really doesn't care much about music or painting, however, the signs are everywhere. The paint splotches on her jeans, the music note choker, her constant humming in perfect tune. Old habits die hard.

History: Mel grew up with her parents and aunt, who'd recently divorced her uncle. Their family was all about manners and kindness, besides her mother, none of them understood Mel's rambunctious, stubborn behavior. Her father was an accountant, always calm, cool, and collective, or so it seemed to the family, but had Mel's stubbornness and was always angry, so often the two of them would butt heads, making home not as homey as their aunt would like. Aunt Jerrimiah (she always got mad when Mel called her Aunt Jerri) left their home when Mel was 10, saying that she'd prefer not to live with an Ally-cat-wannabe, reffering to Mel. This threw her family into three years of fighting and angry notions. Her father wanted to send her to boarding school, but her mother won out, allowing her to stay at home with them. Her father left days later, leaving only a music note choker to remember him by, and a paint brush, which remains either behind her ear, or more prominantely in her back pocket.

The air continued to be tense, however, which drove Melody out of their home, only telling her Mother that she was running away. Her mom only smiled and said she knew that was what was going to happen to Mel, and told her to steal her a nice husband. She ran away at the age of 14, getting a job as a food store clerk, since they hired young. However, she steals at night to make up for her tiny minimum wages, and is quite the young prodigy.

Specialty: Painting, playing woodwind instruments, singing, cutting through glass with her claws, and karate.

Other: Nothing much.

I'M BAAAACK!

Tempus: Better, accepted.

Absol_: Joseyline's personality is better...it's the minimum, but it's enough. She's accepted. As for her bro...well, if you extend his appearance some, he'll be all right. Oh, and angry, you're gonna have to ask Absol_ about that. PM him/her or something.

Band-o: *sniff* Ah, the joyous smell of a good SU...accepted! Nice to see Mel back again.

All right, because I can, I'll be giving everyone a little taste of what I might do with the fic.

1. Starting locations of certain chars may be juggled a little (i.e.: Mel in Tokyo while starting gang's in Paris, etc. etc.) for the sake of the fic. The sub-plots (or whatever you'd like to call them) are meant to play out a little like Sly 3: partners gathered with each new area of the world.

2. Each Master Mind will have some way to donate to the army the MMs are planning to build. The roles of each MM member may be swapped around for the sake of the fic.

3. Romances between members of the Cooper Gang are entirely possible, even likely to happen, although I may need to gather from the RP the answers to the question "who likes who".

When Manaphy Mare and Universe Chaser sign-up, we'll be good to go.
