Although an Ultimate Deluxe Edition would be licensing hell, especially considering that they would have to renegotiate for all the third party content that Ultimate has. And things can change between now and then. I'm expecting a new game. This reminds me of when people were saying that they would just remaster Smash 4 instead of making a new Smash game.I think if a new team is put together, Sakurai would at least play more of a supervisor role. In my opinion, the safest option would be to work on a rerelease of Ultimate to test the waters for this hypothetical new team.
I'm not expecting any new games to come out until there's a new console system, whenever that will be.
Yeah, we're only a little more than halfway through. Granted, they could do the next system concurrent with the Switch in 2025 or 2026.I think the earliest would be 2027.
Press stated back in 2017 that the Switch was slated for a 10-year lifespan.

There are rumors now going around that Switch Pro was canceled though so there's a very real possibility now that we could get new Nintendo Hardware/Switch 2/whatever the f they are going to call it as soon as 2024
Although it's clear that the Switch is showing its age, especially against the PS5 and XBox Series X.God I hope not. I'm not ready for a new console just yet. I like the Switch too much.
I really wanna play smash but ****ing nintendo devices are too overpriced around hereI do I think my kids got me hooked on Smash Ultimate. Puts/Mythra and Pikachu are my favorites so far…
My local GameStop had a few and I grabbed one on Saturday. The quality is really nice and it is nicely detailed especially with the wing feathers and the buckles on the jacket. The sword blade is also a separate section and not attached to the hair like it seems to be by looking at it in the box. This is definitely one of the best looking Amiibo figures we’ve gotten so far as not all of them are winners. (Steve and Alex look really off for some odd reason and Blyeth.)Sephiroth amiibos keep getting sold out ._.
ye, I managed to finally pick one up at a local gamestop that I picked up as an extra since my original intention was to simply grab a copy of Fire Emblem Engage but noticed there were three Sephiroth amiibos still for sale.My local GameStop had a few and I grabbed one on Saturday. The Kazuya figure isn’t bad looking but it feels underwhelming and boring. It doesn’t represent who he is as a character or what he is capable of. He’s just standing there in a fighting stance in a not very dramatic way. Ryu looks like he’s about to attack, Ken is using his taunting pose, and Little Mac is in the middle of throwing an uppercut.I'm pretty sure Sephiroth is going to be far more popular than Kazuya.
