I assumed that the Rhythm Heaven songs would just be on Dream Land. Monkey Watch especially fits with it. The Miiverse songs have all been on the disc from day one, right?
Still waiting for Lonely Storm, Air Rally, Struck by the Rain and Lockstep, though. Also Donk-Donk, Manzai Birds, Tap Troupe, Rhythm Rally, Young Love Rock'n'Roll, I Love You, My One and Only, Beautiful One Day...
Why DID it take them so long to add even a single song from Nintendo's rhythm game series?
I thought so to at first, but then I noticed that Suzaku Castle really only has 6 songs (Ryu Remix, Ryu Arcade, Ryu SNES, Ken Remix, Ken Arcade, Ken SNES). The "panic" versions are likely just sped up variants of the other songs that play in a similar way to the old mario stage songs when the timer got low.
And then if you take away the RH songs, Drealand 64
also has 6 songs. So why add an additional 2 straight rips of songs of an entirely different series to a DLC stage
Rhythm Heaven's handling in general is a little eye brow raising. We know from the datamine that it was going to get a character (confirmed even moreso by the Sneaky Spirit enemy)
and that it was going to get a stage and by extension music. And instead it...didn't get a character, didn't get a stage, didn't get a remix, didn't even get a song rip. It got a suddenly out of place enemy and some trophies.
Style Savvy got a remix before Rhythm Heaven got a song at all.
I'm not sure what would be more eyebrow raising, shoving these songs onto Miiverse or Dreamland.
I guess what I'm getting at is the more I think about it the more it feels like these are just placeholders for a future RH stage.
