Smeargle: Yay or Nay?

I want to hear everyone's opinions on Smeargle! Tell me if you like or dislike him, and give some details to back up your opinion.

Of course I pick "Yay!".
Reasons:
1. It has a paintbrush tail.
2. It's a dog.
3. It's the coolest Pokémon ever!

I like Smeargle a fair amount, but its attack stats are far to be desired. If you have the hopes of making him utilize attacks, you should teach him Swords Dance or Tail Glow.

But I find Smeargle decent, and I like him okay.

Well, he doesn't look so good to me but with his Sketch, he can learn everything. But his stats aren't really good so I never got him as a part of my team.

his attack sketch is neat. i have seen a sheer cold and mind reader smeargle in XD! i want to try that so bad!o yes.

Yay... but you'd have to be pretty skilled to sketch decent moves. What about Horn Drill? You might K.O him as it actually hits. And sketching Spore is hard too. I had one with Sleep Powder, Meditate and Rock Throw once, simply because it's so damn hard to sketch things other than Tackle etc. ingame...

Double Battles work wonders. Say if I wanted to Sketch Blast Burn, I can just make Smeargle's partner, Charizard, use it, and have Smeargle Sketch it.

So, let Rhydon, or someone else, use Horn Drill and have Smeargle Sketch it after he uses it.

I say "Yay!", but NOT because I like it, per se.

Only because he puts the "Smeargle" in SmeargleShipping. My #1 OTP, symbolizing the relationship between Whitney and DJ Mary.

But he's versatile. I'll give him that. He'd be the second Baton Passer I'd consider using...

I say YAY! it´s the best breedable pokémon EVER! with smeargle we don´t waste TMs. I hope he had 2 egg groups, like ground and monster.

I think that Smeargle is a great pokemon. It's design is hilarious, and I wonder how it puts paint on it's tail. Is there an oil gland or something? For these reasons, I choose "Yay!"

I've used Smeargle a number of times, and while there are other normal Pokemon I prefer; he's pretty strong. Here's my moveset for him...
Sword Dance
Spore
Focus Punch
Detect
It's served me well. He also has a rather strange design. :O

Smeargle is cute, but I could never train one. And I wouldn't ever want to have one in netbattle or something... but I don't hate it.

I said nay because of the point of the game where you can get him, he would be too under leveled to use. I like smeargle and the way he looks, but he is just not good enough for my liking.

...You get him at the battle frontier, and at that point, you should be breeding anyway.

I love Smeargle. I aspire to use one some day.

Neutral, really. It learns everything, but it's barely worth it. Its Defenses are terrible, its Offenses are horrific, its HP is pitiful, and its Speed Stat is just barely decent. It can Baton Pass if the odds are in its favor, but you need to be pretty lucky/skilled. In the grand scheme of things, Smeargle is a reflection of how good its user is =/

Smeargle looks cool, so I vote yay . As a battler, I'd say nay since it is terrible. It lost so many times since I couldn't find a decent moveset for it. Right now, I use it to catch Pokemon with Spore/False Swipe and other things...

I hate Smeargle. It has an infinitely large movepool, but it cannot use most of it.
