cuselax is just about the most dominant poke ever in the battle frontier. no PHazers, so you can just curse up.

bliss is better for the adventure-type facilities, such as pike and arena, mostly because softboiled and Atherapy support the rest of your team really well. in the dome, arena, and tower, though, lax is better, IMO.

in moveset/EV spread advice, give snorlax return over body slam. you're not going to be faster than anything, even with para. i'd say give both of them max HP, 'lax max SDef, and Bliss max Def.

Gengar is rampant in the tower atleast for me...

Then get a counter for it.

Honestly, do you want to waste one move on lax for one pokemon or would you rather counter steels/rocks/other pokes that may give it trouble? Furthermore, a shadow ball or STABbed body slam won't be doing **** to such pokemon, even with a few curses under its belt ;/

Wrongo. The Snorlax EVs aren't good either.

First of all, paralysis cuts the speed of the paralyzed Pokemon to 25% of its normal speed.

Now look at this. Assuming the Pokemon below have a Speed IV of 31 and no speed modifiers were used...

Snorlax with 4 speed EVs: 97 Speed
Paralyzed Timid Sceptile with 252 Speed EVs: 93 Speed
Paralyzed Jolly Swellow with 252 Speed EVs: 96 Speed

Only 7 Pokemon outspeed Snorlax after being paralyzed.

Careful Nature @ Leftovers
EVs: 204 HP / 100 Atk / 136 Def / 68 SDef
Body Slam
Earthquake
Rest
Sleep Talk

**** no, dot put earthquake over shadow ball for the frontier, that's juts asking gengar to **** on you, which is everywhere in the frontier.

the only EQ will hit hard is Tyranitar / Metagross, and they aren't dominant in the frontier.

i know that, but i was referring specifically to curselax. after two curses, the lax in the above example has 48 speed, which doesn't even outrun (for example) agiligross or DDtar before boosts.

I agree with nooblet. You can beat Tyranitar/Metagross if you managed to set up before them and I actually once managed to counter a Metagross with a Shadow Ball Curselax before (yeah, as in switch into it and then beating it up). if you can blow away their Tyranitar/Metagross and a special sweeper pops out, switch to lax and start cursing.

I like Selfdestruct on my Laxes. get XD to teach is that.

Fun:

Snorlax@Choice Band
Selfdestruct
Return/Earthquake/Brick Break/Shadow Ball/Focus Punch/Rock Slide
Return/Earthquake/Brick Break/Shadow Ball/Focus Punch/Rock Slide
Return/Earthquake/Brick Break/Shadow Ball/Focus Punch/Rock Slide

NOTHING can resist both Ghost and Fighting, so I'd normally go with boom/Return/Shadow Ball/Brick BReak OR Focus Punch 8D

brick break on snorlax is always a bad idea. from that, i suggest return, EQ, and Shadow ball. the only poke to resist all of it is skarm, and return does more to it than BB would anyway. besides which, you don't keep your CBer in against a physical wall. not even if you want to, thanks to roar.

FP goes on more tankish sets that have sub and rest, too. you could try prediction, but since this is for the battle frontier, there's no switches to predict, and they usually just attack. including STAB, return does more damage than FP does anyway.

EDIT: max attack CB selfdestruct has an almost assured OHKO on standard skarm, though.

You pobably don't know me.

I use FUN sets. In all of my RMT posts, I note before han that the sets are for fun purposes. In-game, Brick Break works somewhat better then FP because nothing switches in-game (except when you choose out a Shadinja against Steven's MEtagross in R/S)

I belive that having fun is the top priority, not winning or "standards" :)

And like I said, NOTHING resists both Ghost and Fighting.

I don't use standards, so your suggestions mean nothing in my eyes ;D
