Snuffle-prevo of lickitonge

I just started on making fakies and stuff like that. Here's my first one-

Name: Snuffle
Type: normal/ground
evolution: snuffle--trade + mud ball--->lickitounge




Description:

Snuffle spends it's day scavanging for fallen berries along the ground using it's long, sensitive nose. The berries it consumes have chemicals that makes it drowsy. After eating it slumps dpwn and sleeps.​

.. okay so you have a pig-lizard basically, evolving into a chameleon Lickitung. Is there any reason why you made it ground type? Is there a reason why it loses the ground type upon evolving? Why would it go from using its nose to finding items, to using its tounge?

I'm sorry but it looks too much like a female version of a Lickitung or something, with two stumpy tails. It also looks too much like Totodile in build. Cause when I first saw it, I thought it was a pink Totodile or something.
