So how long?

I've been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue came out.I was 10 back then. I'm nineteen now and I'm still playing. I was wondering what age did you start, how old are you now, and do you think you'll be playing pokemon for a long time? I could see my self playing for a very long time.

I've been playing Pokemon Crystal for 4 years because I was about 7 when I started.
I think I will play untill I'm 17-ish but I'm not sure.

I play Pokémon since the 3rd grade or since I was 9 years old or 7 years ago. And I hope I don´t stop =D

I've played pokemon since Red and Blue came out. I'm not really sure when that was, I'm not sure, maybe when I was about ten years old. Now I'm sixteen, and right now I dont see a reason why I would stop playing it.....open end.

When i was 7 in 1998 i played pokemon red and blue and was amazed at how good they were, so yea ive been playing pokemon since they first made there face in north america.

I've been playing since I was 7 or 8, my sister got her first GBA Color, and it came with Crystal, and she gave it to me. I stopped playing it, and just started up with it about last November (2005)

Eight long years ago when I was five. It worked out for me to start at such a young age; I am extremely good at it now. I also started collecting the trading cards when they fist came out, and I still haven't stopped buying them. I have over 2,400 cards, about a third of which are energy. I counted them personally. I can also whip any of my friends with one of my decks.

Actually I'm started playing Pokemon when the Yellow cames, but then I'm stop play it. Then a year ago, my father bought me a Ruby and since that time I start playing again.

I find it interesting how some people got into it after the fad. I may not have even touched the games if people weren't so hyped up about the anime.

I got interested in Pokemon in (I think) late '98 or early '99, after my friend recommended seeing the anime. A couple of months later the games came out (dunno why they came out after the anime here) and I decided to get them...both. Then I became addicted. ^_^'

I was probably 12 when I started. It was when Red & Blue were new; around January 1999. I had played around with them in emulators a month or so before that. (Try before you buy, people!)
