And I don't like cel-style shading so much anymore, so I've been practicing brushing on Photoshop and Open Canvas. I'm starting to like Shi-Painter, actually, even though I can't do much of anything when it comes to drawing lineart with a mouse. :x

The paint brush idea for the background looks really neat blended in together. All of the shadings for Gastly's tail mist match perfectly, and the clouds are designed in a classic spiral way. The black pixel lining for Gastly also defines it's personality very well.

EDIT: Ummm, I feel like I used too many describing words.
