So, I just got Pokerus.

I don't even know how. I had accidentally left my game on overnight (luckily it was in the charger) and when I came back, BOOM! Pokerus.

So I'm like, okay. I got pokerus. Now what?

So I go read the little thingy on the main site about pokerus. Hey, lookie, I get to raise pokemon better. That's nice. So I decide to make a second team.

I hatch a bunch of eggs of the pokemon I want, and I have my seviper in the party. The one that has pokerus. Or, one of them, at least.

But the baby pokemon that I just hatched aren't catching it.

Can anyone tell me why?

I still don't see an answer to my question. Because...

A) None of the baby pokemon have dots in the status area, so they should still be suseptible (sp?) to it.

B) I've been moving around like a freaking mad woman, not just sitting there, and I've done it for quite a while now (at least an hour).

C) My Seviper is still in my party and it still says it has it.

Unless I'm missing something, my question is still unanswered. Why won't the baby pokemon get pokerus from my seviper?

let me squash that rumour before it gets too far
pokerus DOES NOT SPREAD IN THE PC
it DOES NOT SPREAD IN FIRE RED or LEAF GREEN
it only spreads in ruby/saphire emerald and only with time.
it only spread to a pokemon next to it in the party so pokemon in first slot would transfer it to pokemon in 2nd slot.
i have no idea why it's not spreadin beside that unless u already lost it

Nope, I have it, and I'm playing emerald...

would it possibly have to do with the parents of the new pokemon having pokerus? Some of them didn't, but I think maybe one or two of them did. But it still doesn't have a dot in the status thing... so I dunno...

sometimes you have to go into battle to get the pokerus to spread
other than that, i do not see why they cannot catch it, it is nothing to do with parents or anything like that, and as long as your Serviper has the PKRS sign on it, it should spread to pokemon without the dot.
