Hmm I think for once it will be just Ash V.S Team Plasma/N.
I hope we get one last tournament before the BW series ends though, I'd like Ash to win one before going onto the next region.

Lol it's cool. Although really there should be some sort of side plot, can't see them just following TP around for a whole filler saga

^this topic does in a way beg the question, what's Ash's goal post here?
What is he to obtain during this arc, cause if he's just getting involved in Team Plasma (and Rocket if they come back later on in a big way) business then this filler arc at the end is pointless for him (As at the end of the day right now he is the only character who's development matters most) if nothing comes out of it, cause another team other than Team Rocket disbanding ain't exactly unique, taking TR down with them for example however would be.
I will say one thing though, we're past the league so if Ash does call on his older pokemon besides just Charizard then it doesn't matter, cause the unova pokemon have had thier time, thier past thier league so all bets are off.

I wouldn't call it pointless but yes I've been saying this since the arc was announced and now it really seems there is no extra goal, Araragi tells him about the ruins, he meets N during that and thats it, he is going to travel to those ruins during the arc and the finale migth be there or in Dragonspiral Tower.
I hope they save one or two episode for a Kanto Lab episode since we didn't get one in DP.

Hopefully this arc will do something spectacular to get people over the region itself, since we all know how most people feel about that--;
But simply fighting an enemy team doesn't exactly seem all that spectacular since we've seen Ash do it before.
As far as a "tournament" goes, i'd rather see Ash redo the "indigo league" (who knows, Charizard could be an indicator) and win that than some offshoot tournament that will have a silly little trinket prize that won't matter in the end.

Yeah, I feel like Ash has to have a goal for this Arc. It'll be some big tournament that winning is some big accomplishment. But in the end Ash will win. It'll be like the orange islands and the battle frontier. Then it'll never get brought up again, just like the Orange islands and Battle frontier. It is the fate of all the filler arcs.

Maybe not get the badge, but if he does get involved with the Dragons, I could actually see him and Drayden face each other now, especially if they head back towards the Dragonspiral tower like Pepsi said.
Drayden could test Ash to see if he has the power to control a Dragon of Zekrom/Reshiram's power...though I don't know how Iris would take it if that happened.

Since the new games come out in October I'd assume the N saga would be over around that time. 10 months is not enough time, and we already know January doesn't have any gym battles. I think that it's really only gonna be fillers+tp+maybe a tournament that Ash wins so he can win 1 Goddam thing here

I'm thinking we're going to get the Colress Tournament. However. if we do there's no need for some characters to appear. No need for Trip, Stephan, Virgil, or Bianca to be in this tournament. That would save a lot of screen time. No real need for Burgundy or Georgia either to be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing Cameron but that seems unlikely. It would give Ash a nice rematch against him. It could focus solely on Iris, Cilan, and Ash.

I would like a Colress tournament however. Since it would be plot-related it'd actually be more interesting.
