So is Mystery Dungeon for the GBA part of 3rd Gen Pokemon games?

Just a shot in the dark. Is the Mystery Dungeon game where the Pokemon talk to each other is it a game for 3rd Gen or what?

The first Mystery Dungeon title(s) were released in the interim between Generations III and IV. They have no Generation IV elements in them, if that's what you're asking.
