I've been visiting Serebii for a good four years now but one thing that I think the site should really do is April Fools. I mean, a little prank couldn't hurt. The next day, you can even say it was a prank (or on the same update at the bottom). I mean, let's have a sense of humor. A little prank wouldn't hurt.

Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

He does a prank on the forums each year. Well, not for the past two years, but I'm sure that was just to let our guard down. I'm convinced that this year, he'll be back with a vengeance!
But no, he never does a prank on the main site. It's actually, IMO, one of the things that puts Serebii.net above other sites.

He doesn't do them on the main site because people will go on believing any rumour he puts out long after he declares it a fake. People are stupid like that.

I remember when Joe made the main site banner digimon instead of pokemon. And then the two years before something else for the banner. He just hasn't done that in a while.

Well, one year he revealed all the 4th Gen English names on April Fool's Day. Naturally, nobody believed it.... then they turned out to be real. I think that's the best kind of April Fools prank, one that is actually real, because no one will believe it! 
Although, I think the fact it was revealed on April 1 may have a coincidence, because I think somebody else leaked the names first (over on GameFAQs, IIRC), and Serebii just reported it.
Still funny though.

That is genius! Especially for people like me who hate April Fools' Day... >_<
But you know what would be a good idea? To show some creativity on April Fools' day! You could use one of the fakemon on the site or here, and make an entire fake pokemon page on how you think that fakemon would work if it was real.
