I went and had a great time. The staff was knowlegable and I was able to complete my berrydex with some other kids and I was able to trade out some of my pokemon to other folk. I also found out I wasn't the only adult player either so I felt better. I got some "cat" goodies too! I tried trozei and found out I liked it so I went and bought it while preordering the Dungeon games.
I didn't have time to battle though.

i went today it was really fun. but i was kinda ****** i lost in the third roung of the video games. i was just surprised so many people came

I lost in the 4th round due to Quick Claw, and I got 2 Celebis. 1st one is Careful, and 2nd is Timid which is exactly what I needed to have to build my stable non-uber team

but the best thing about the tournament was sending players home sad and disapointed.telling someone that they are worthless really made my day

I got Celebi, downloaded all 20 pokemon got 3 plush (bonsly, latias, latios). I couldnt enter in the compotition, allthough I did find a random trainer to battle. Anybody get pikachu holding a light ball? I have emerald and bred it for a volt tackle pichu.

congrats xd bonsly! Well, I really wanted to download celebi, but the line was WAY too long . The lines were really long for everything! But, i know it isn't the staffs fault cause this was the only pokemon festival In eastern Pa. It was also kinda near new jersey and delaware so a lot more pokemon fans could go too. It was packed though, and I went at 10! But, I still got to go to the Pokemon Center Kiosk to stock up on pokedolls! I got a mew, lucario and mime jr., but they didn't have a weavile. Overall, it turned Ok.

I went to the one in cininatti and it was pretty cool but the people working the place looked like they really did want to be there. But I got my celebi and a couple other pokemon and bought a couple of but over very cool.

all the people at the DC one look'd like they took som happy pills lol and the lines were really long for the top twenty fortunately i already had all of em cept blastoise, some guy gave me poke'rus and some girl gave me deoxys, all for only leichi berries, got 11 celebis(the lines were really short because people only got 1 or 2) and i squished kids in cards

i also met so many like-minded people in person it was great, and best of all it was all free

all & all i'd say it was definitely worth it
