The 8th movie JUST came out like a month ago, the 9th one coming out in Spring will actually be a pretty quick turnaround... I would have expected next summer at the earliest...

They probably want Movie 9 out as a teaser to D/P, and D/P will probably come out in the U.S. by summer so the movie should be before it.

Unfortunately, all Pokemon DVDs in America are dub only, forcing people who want to purchase a DVD rather than download to pay nearly 4000 yen it. Cheap by Japanese DVD standards, but overpriced for what it is.
