On average, for some of you people who soft reset alot and have alot of siny legendaries, how many soft resets does it take to find a shiny??

Completly random with a 1 in 8192 or something like that chance. Even if you do soft reset 8192 times, it's still a 1 in 8192 chance.

And I would think that it would take a few hours of soft resetting to get a shiny.

It depends if hes lucky ive resseted for a shiny treecko for months and i remember seeing someone saying they have softressetted for a whole year and then theres that lucky guy who gets it in there first try or in 17 ressets

I try to find Shiny legendaries by Soft Reseting but I never find one. And I don't really need them, I Soft Reset only to find legendaries with good natures.

OK, but I mean the people like pelican and Missingo. Master with tons of shinies. How long does it take people like them?

its random, it caould take 1 reset 200, 1000 10,000(<- if your really unlucky) and no, after 8192 that doesn't meanb you'll get a 100% chance of getting a shiney, um for the upper, huh?

You press A, B, Start, and Select at the same time. Hard resetting is switching the game boy on and off.
