Solo Pokemon Challenge

I've just finished my second solo pokemon challenge with a slaking and I'm wondering if other people have tried this challenge? I've heard of many people solo starting pokemon challenges but I haven't heard of anyone else doing this one, why is that?

Isn't that how the n00bs play through their games, anyway? Having a L80 Charizard before hitting Victory Road? Seriously, if you want your "Solo Challenge" to actually be a challenge, at least do it with a UU or something weaker.

Im not saying having a "level 80 charizard" thats why In my games I wasn't allowed to START the elite four with a higher then level 60 pokemon, they evolved to 61 and 62 on the way and I do have to say that it was a challenge only being able to move once every two turns with my slaking. So your saying that this challenge is just what basic noob starters do with there starting pokemon??

Well, the "solo challenge" I've heard of is where you play through the entire adventure using only 1 Pokémon, aside from HM slaves.

Yes thats what it is BUT I try and have the challenge an actual challenge by putting on level caps.

Or how about this, a solo pokemon challenge where the only way you can gain exp is by trainer fights?
