Some News on This Month's Plot

Though the Netkun website has not been updated yet, apparently the magazines have already been released in Japan, and someone has posted a brief summary of what happened in this month's plot on a Japanese forums.

BF saga:
The last chapter ends at the point where Noland is seen being attacked by a mysterious person. This person still does not show his face in this chapter but is described as a big man, and it is revealed that his aim is the only legendary pokemon we haven't seen, Jirachi.

Emerald manages to beat Lucy eventually, and will challenge the Pyramid as his third stop. We still don't know Brandon's line up yet. But Latias apparently retains its anime ability to transform into humans, and she has morphed herself into one of the Battle Pike maids who give Emerald advice.

FRLG saga:
The last chapter ends at our heroes finally able to save Prof. Oak and Blue's parents from the grips of TR, and are now confronted with a whole gang of Deoxys (again, an anime influence, giving Deoxys the ability to make multiple clones of itself).

The cold swirl of air Lorelei's Jynx puffed out on Storc (Saki)'s ankles in a previous chapter turns out not to be her famous ice cuffs, but some sort of tracking device instead.

Giovanni has apparently forseen Mewtwo's colloboration with Red and co. and therefore has made some special device to counter its attacks and more or less trap it.

On the other hand, Bill and Celio are trying to get help from their research companions, Bridgette and Lanette in Hoenn.

RSE saga:
The last chapter ends where Ruby discovers that Juan has secretly placed the Red and Blue Orbs into his and Sapphire's bodies. Turns out, this is part of their 'mind' training, and the two young trainers eventually managed to expel the orbs out of their bodies on their own.

Ruby finally removes his white cap in this chapter, and the scar which he received from battling the Salamence during his childhood is still there. He is said to have a hair style similar to Norman's.

Sapphire received the Rain and Mind badges from the twins and Juan, and the two make their way out of the Mirage Island to go back to the Grou/Kyo battle.

So, Jirachi is finally confirmed to be in the BF saga, and Lanette and Bridgette finally have a role to play. Juan turns out not to be evil in placing the orbs into Ruby and Sapphire's body too.

Ruby hair's being similar to Norman's doesn't suprise me at all because if you see Brendan's back battle image on Emerald you can a little bit of his hair and sure looks like Norman's hair.

As predicted... just checking, but she has all eight now, right? I'm assuming her entry into the Pokemon League will happen after all the chaos has ended.

I wasn't sure... so now she'll have seven badges... after all the chaos she'll surely face Norman and then go on to the Pokemon League.

I think the League may not necessarily be part of the RSE series because the reason Sapphire set out to conquer all the gyms is basically coz of her 80-day pact with Ruby.

With Sapphire receiving the Rain and Mind badges, she indeed only has Norman left to fight, who is arguably the strongest among all gymleaders of Hoenn.

On the other hand, Ruby only has the master rank contest to conquer (well, his Feebas did not get the hyper rank beauty ribbon because it ran away, but still he has already won that title, so he generally has conquered the hyper rank already).

In other words, both Ruby and Sapphire have only one more place to go after the whole Grou/Kyo battle is over.

About 4 or 5 months ago, there was a big debate about Ruby's hair. Does anyone remember that? XD

Anyway, it astounds me that there are still more anime influences in the manga like Latias being able to transform to look like humans. Whatever...

So, why didn't Netkun update?

Rather bizarre
Finally, the update.

It was about time they showed Ruby's hair. I should have bet a lot of money some months ago, when some people believed Ruby's hair was white... How much would I have won now??? ><

Though,I'm even more anxious from the BF new happenings... it's maybe starting to become interesting (so far, I didn't like the BF saga at all... the only reason I wanted it, it's the Brains' appereance. Hopefully now it's becoming... different)

+cough+

Is that one on the floor REALLY Noland? The only word I can read in the text near to the image is "Datsura". Lol, I'm such a loser.

In the updates' pics, I noticed team rocket having a helicopter looking quite the same as the one they had in the special anime episode Mewtwo returns. Is this one of those influences too?

I've always hoped that the anime would take some ideas from the manga, not the other way around...

It appears Giovanni now has a Crobat, sorry it's minor but I'm always interested in characters' line ups

And can't wait for Emerald's challenge with Brandon, I'm wondering how they're going to handle Brandon's line up

It does indeed look like its going to be an interesting plot this month.

Is that the orb that Ruby is throwing out of his hand?

I wonder if Sapphire will have to battle Norman or will she get given the badge in some event connected to him

I'm hoping that she'll battle him, but I have a theory that he'll give her the badge after a possible match she has against Ruby... it'd sort of prove something about both trainers, Sapphire being worthy of the badge and Norman acknowledging Rbuy's skills.
