Some random discoveries

Steel-Type Trainer

Steelix Dancer
I just made some random discoveries while training my Umbreon in XD.

1) Quick Attack will outrun Fake Out. (Even though Fake Out does strike first, Quick Attack always strikes first)

2) Quick Attack will NOT outrun Helping Hand.

Though these already may be known, I just wanted to put them out there. Obviously, outrunning Fake Out is both helpful and satisfying.

Extremespeed outruns Quick Attack even if the Pokémon using Quick Attack is faster in stats

Pin Missile can poison a Steel type

I thought the Pokemon with higher speed goes first.

Like if a Haunter with 200 Speed uses Fake Out against a Rattata with 27 Speed using Quick Attack, then Haunter would go first.

EDIT: Beaten twice...wait...do stupid posts count?

EDIT2:

AW - Did your mommy tell you that?
BS - ...really? Huh...never knew that. (first sentence, not second)

Why because I posted some relevent to the thread? You know how to get a reaction :p

The post before yours. >.>

EDIT:

Comray - How is it weird? The Steel type is immune to Poison-Type attacks. No one ever said that Steel-types can't be poisoned.

EDIT2: I thought it was Twineedle, not Pin Missile.

Oh! One more thing...

You can confuse Shedinja and hope it hurts itself. That knocks it out. Discovered while battling the Arena Tycoon,

And no, no poison type moves work on Steel.

Well I never! I challenge you to a duel, my good sir!

*takes off glove and slaps you with it*

Does that have anything to do with Pokemon Discoveries?

Charmeleon can learn Rain Dance o_O I thought it died if it rained and it's tail flame went out ...

Rapidash can use Solarbeam and Dugtrio can use Aerial Ace...

There is actually a site somewhere that says the speeds of attacks and what goes first. I'll try and find it.

Rapidash can learn Bounce.
Bounce, a Flying type move, isn't learnable by any Flying type Pokémon.
Rayquaza can learn weather changing moves, like Sunny Day. Not that it will have any effect.
Electrode didn't learn any Electric moves by levelling up in R/B/Y.
Lickitung didn't learn Lick in R/B.

Scizor can learn Rain Dance, which I found amusing... but I don't think it will stop him from being OHKOed by a Fire type...
