They're simple, but it's okay to be simple when you're starting. To make mosr advanced sprites, reshade the added parts so they look better. A lot of the game sprites only look good as their original colors, so when you recolor them, you also need to reshade and reoutline.

Also, try and make added parts fit better with the sprite. You want to make it look like it's supposed to be there, so change the shading and outlining, move a few pixels here and there, and it'll look much more natural.

No, they don't suck. Their actually pretty good.

On your mixes, you need to recolor the parts you pasted on. Like Butterfree's arms. Plus, in my opinion their kinda plain.

Your recolors are quite good. The only problem is Gengar's all black outline.

...Other than that your sprites are alwsome for a beggininer. I know one day you'll be a great spriter. :)

Pik-eeeooow!
You're good! They're great!

The Gengar's outline needs to be fixed, and the outline on the Roselia/Treeko needs to be fixed as well.

Other than that's they're awesome. You'll be a great spriter in the future. ^_^

Now for your new ones...They're great!

However, the outline isn't fully recolored on your Grovyle-Combustken. (Sp?)
And when mixing, don't just switch heads. It kinda ruins the sprite.
