It didn’t take long for a reply to come from whoever I was talking to. ““Oh! I’m not sure. I’m trying to get a trainer to take me there!” I blinked at the way it was said. There was so much hope in the voice of the talking Pokémon that I was amazed I could readily feel it in their thoughts. A moment later I sensed a wave of disappointment from whoever I was speaking to.
“Well if there is anything I can do to help you, such as breaking you out for instance, I will try to be of assistance.” I paused considering my next words. “If any other Pokémon would like my assistance, tell them to think loudly that the would like assistance and I will try to speak with them."
I was aware the last part was a bit of a gamble, but I dislike seeing Pokémon held inside of cages, even Pokéballs disgusted me, after so many years outside of my own, and now after spending several years free.
As stealthily as I could, I approached the building, staying out of the view of any people. When I reached the edge of the available shadows I paused, making sure that I didn’t leave them. Silently I watched people enter and exit the building. I strained my ears to try and pick up what was said, but I could not manage to hear anything.
