Something that irratate's me *Random Rant*

Okay, as much as I understand the importance of ingame, I am hearing a lot people saying they want a more stronger ingame. However, another thing is that it is often:
Your Pokemon (harder to train, add mantaining too)
The Gyms (Harder to complete)
Elite Four/Five (Same as above)

What do all these have in common (if you have seen how the first one is used)? In-game story mode. Story mode is what I will refer to as Gyms-E4. Now something to point out is Wi-Fi. MPH had a short/easy ingame mode, but look at Wi-Fi. It is what keeps the game interesting (assuming errors are absent). That aside, why is there little attention to what could make Wi-Fi harder, or what could make Multiplayer harder. More modes for example. All I see in regards to multiplayer is custimazation, but we want that for Single-Player too. And what happened to Battle Tower/Frontier. That will give us a challange.

Bottom Line: Should we not concern ourselves with the lack of challanges present in "story mode" but rather the challanges we want should be focused on Wi-Fi/Multiplayer and Battle Tower/Frontier?

I think they should concentrate on both.
But if I had to pick one then I think they should concentrate on the story mode.

What story? Train your pocket monsters to be the best that they can be while battling eco freaks in Halloween costumes who hardly pose a threat with their level 17 zubats. I guess that could pass.

The "Story Mode" should be far more entertaining. I'm content with the Battle Frontier though. Before they try to drastically improve on that, I would like for them to make Wi-Fi problem free and create an online experience with a thousand things to do other than battling, trading, and contests.

I dont think that the story mode is as boring as some of you are saying. I mean it's up to the player if he wants to go through the "main story" easily or if he wants a challange. It depends on how much you train your pokemon and with what kind of pokemon you go through the main part... So I think they should more focus on the Wi-fi thing and Battle Frontier, 'cause the main story is fine.

Would it really make the story mode "more interesting" to have to train against wild pokemon for hours on end just to begin to have a chance?

I fight every single trainer in the game before the E4, and I still have to supplement the training with wild pokemon, which I find mind-numbingly boring. If you want a challenge, just don't level up your pokemon so high...

Story mode = adventure, leveling up pokemon
Battle frontier = challenge, strategy
More wild training = crap

got it?

I suppose people are focusing on making the ingame adventure more elaborate because it's not been quite so easy throughout the past of the games to establish a link with other games. However, these people fail to realize that with WiFi allowing for much better connectivity and the potential of getting signals from DS's in the vicinity, the ingame adventure doesn't need anything terribly elaborate.

A simple bolstering of the fundamental gameplay while adding another Battle Frontier-like facility and heavy emphasis on WiFi will make this game much more successful with but a few marketing tricks, saving Gamefreak some time in developing the game so that we get the earlier and for a better price.

I want a better story mode, but if they could include wifi characters in your story mode who can batte you, walk around with you or double battle with you will be a good combination and solve both of these things:)Well for pokemon anyway...

I'd like to see a story mode similar to RSE's. It actually had a pretty good storyline.
