In nintendogs (labrador) ive gone on bark mode twice with my brother, the first time he brought his dalmatian puppy, so i could buy them, and the second time, he brought his mini-sausage dog (cant spell right name) but when i went off, it wouldtn let me buy them, does anybody know why this might be?

i dont have nntendo dogs but played it. perhaps u do not have th same versions or you do not have enough money.

Nope, its got nothing to do with verisons, it worked the first time I dont htink its got anything to do with money either Thanks for your help though

Apparently you can only enter Bark Mode and use this method once for each version of the game. As in, you would need to enter Bark Mode again with another version of the game to buy the other breed from your brother.

Thanks! But my friend also has the dauchu..daughh..mini-sausage dog game and he has a mini-sausage dog, could i do go bark mode with him? Or would i have to go on it with another game card, then i could go on it with my brother again? Thanks!

I believe the answer to both questions is no.

However, I did find out something that could be just as of use to you.

If you use your same game card but with your brother's DS, and he does the same with your DS and his own game card, you can then get that breed in Bark Mode and switch the DSs back afterwards, therefore cheating the system.

1) Edit your posts rather than double post. More useful rules can be found here D:

2) Has your brother ever used bark mode to get a breed from you before? If that's the case, consider the litte cheat null for you. The process only works once, as a DS can only recieve a new breed through Bark Mode once, thus swapping the DSes allows you to do it again. However, if you have both done so once already, then swapping will have no effect

The same thing happened to me when I got it, only the first dog on the other DS in bark mode was available in my game to buy. That must be just how the game is designed.
